B. Lesson Proper
A. Activity
a. Reading, speaking and vocabulary.
Unlocking of difficulties:
medal- a metal disk with an inscription or design, made to
commemorate an event or awarded as a distinction to someone such as
a soldier, athlete, or scholar.
talented- having a natural aptitude or skill for something.
good example- something to be imitated; "an exemplar of success";
physically handicapped- loss of or failure to develop a specific bodily
function or functions, whether of movement, sensation, coordination,
or speech, but excluding mental impairments or disabilities.
polio- a contagious viral illness that in its most severe form causes nerve
injury leading to paralysis, difficulty breathing and sometimes death.

B. Analysis
Differentiate descriptive words from action words by giving sentences.
1. Descriptive words
a. The genuine product was bought by my mother.
b. He gave me four gorgeous flowers.
c. Robin is a hard-working person.
2. Action words
a. I like to draw pictures.
b. I lent my mother some money.
c. She always forgets her purse.
Descriptive words- are help visualize, describe, define, or explain information about people,
places, things, situations, or actions.
Action words- are verbs that expresses physical or mental actions or something that a
person, animal, or thing, can do.
C. Application
Show different pictures of action words and let students describe it.
IV. Assignment
Paste in your notebook your favorite picture. In a short paragraph, retell the event that
happened then. Use as many descriptive words as you can.
