1875: A recount of the events that the Native Americans were faced

within 1875 

It is nearing midnight, and my family is getting ready to retire to bed. Today is a peaceful night,
save for the wind that triggers the fire to produce a cracking sound. By way of a wide crack on
the wall of our hut, I could start to see the moon outside shining brightly. The prevailing
atmosphere does little to support the mounting tension inside our village following revelations
from our tribal leaders that soon the white man shall invade our land.
