Plastic Bottle and Balloon Experiment!

Instructions:

● Place a balloon inside the neck of the bottle, stretching the open

end of the balloon over the mouth of the bottle to seal it. See

image:

● Try to blow up the balloon!

● Make a hole in the bottom of the bottle, 2–5 milimetres across, using

scissors or a thumbtack.

● Inflate the balloon in the bottle again and cover the hole with your finger.

Pour water into the balloon while keeping your finger over the hole.

● Remove your finger and point the bottle away from you.
