Homework: What time do you go to school? Present simple

Objective: The student is able to write and talk about his/her personal routine when using
time expressions for more specific details.

Writing Activity
Sally, your friend from United States writes an email to you about what she does in her daily
routine. Write a response fro Sally about your daily rotoutine in Colombia.
Sally`s email

Dear Friend,
I`m so happy to write. Today I share with you my daily routine in my city Chicago. On Monday
I wake up at 6:30 in the morning. I take a shower, I get dressed and I eat breakfast. At 7:30 I take
the bus to go to school. In my school I have english and math class before the break. The break is at
11:00 in the morning. I eat an Apple and cookies.

In the afternoon we finish class and then I have lunch. For lunch I eat a tuna sándwich and orange
juice. When I go home is 4:30 pm. In my house, I take a shower again and watch tv with my parents
and dog. At 7: 00 pm We have dinner and I do homework from shool.

At 9:30 I go to sleep with my dog.

What about you my friend in Colombia? What do you do everyday?

Every day I get up at 6:30 am, breakfast at 7:20 am and go to work, I enter at 8 am, when I get to work
the first thing I do is check the platforms, if they have the money or I have to recharge them, I do general
cleaning and open the point, at 3 pm I leave work I go to my house, when I arrive I take my dog named
Jade to do their needs, then lunch, at 4: 50 pm, I go out to the bus stop to take the bus to take me to
the portal to meet my friend Daylys, to take the transmilenio to go to the university, we enter at 6:15 to
classes and normally we leave for our homes at 10 and end up arriving at 11:30 pm, when I get home
I get ready to sleep.
