You are on page 1of 3

Use this document to organize your to-do list for your senior project.

This is a “living document” for the second semester, so you may fill it out each week as we go, or you may fill
it out all at once if you like to really plan ahead. Strike through items as they are completed. (Or you can
highlight, color-code, check-off, etc - whatever works best for you)
To strike through, highlight the text and use alt/shift/5 (or go to format-text-strikethrough)

You may also move items around as you see fit. If something doesn’t get done, don’t panic and don’t cross it
off - just move it to the next week.

To-Do List!
This will go on the documentation page of your Weebly when you finish your project!

Week of 2/2 and 2/7

Reach out to Mr. Brown on or before Friday and explain that I have finished my paper and I am
now planning my project, give an explanation of my purpose with the project and my ideas for the
project.
LOOSELY plan out what you want to do for the project (just brainstorming):
- Locations: Where should activities be located? What activities should be in what locations?
Who ‘owns’ that location? Who should I contact? Theater, cafeteria, gym?
- Activities: What activities should I do? How do these activities relate to my topic? How do
the activities relate to my everyday? Should I ask the 504 coordinator about what
accommodations kids usually need and make activities based on that?
- Explanations: How should I explain why we are doing the activities? Should I relate it to my
personal experience or to an overall experience?
- Other: Should I provide a reward at the end? What would that be? Should I make them fill
out a survey or something at the end, maybe asking what they took away from the activities
and which activity was the worst? What date?
Look at what you should do for the Weebly (done in class).
Pick a theme for Weebly- maybe flowers and hot drinks as a wink wink nudge nudge at the book
(also symbolic and cute)
Blog about the research paper - perhaps ask about how creative I can be with it?
Write out your plan, including locations, activities, explanations, and other issues that may pop up.
Take your time and be creative. (JUST HAD A DRAFT)

Week of 2/14
FINAL AND ORGANIZED: Write out your plan, including locations, activities, explanations, and
other issues that may pop up. Take your time and be creative. INCLUDING EXPLINATIONS OF
WHY THE ACTIVITIES RELATE TO MY TOPIC
Set a date! Look at the calendar and make it a day that nothing is going on - a Friday would be
good? Give myself time - so it should be later, maybe March 25? After Tinkerbell, of course. April
8th is the FINAL due date.
Posters and fliers!!! Fliers first because those will be easier (just do in Canva) - posters I can hand
make (in class?)

Week of 2/21

Talk to Mr. Brown - EMAIL and set a time to talk! Mostly questions about equipment
Contact Mrs. Godfree about using the cafeteria and gym - CAN DEFINITELY USE CAFE, but not
the GYM if it RAINS!!
Talk to Curtis about using the theater. AFTER you talk to Curtis, go back to Mrs. Godfree and fill
her in, and…
Godfrey Email: Hollie.godfrey@vbschools.com
