Maskintelegrafen virker p& den mate at en ordre gitt fra broenheten aktiverer en alarmfunksjon som tilkjennegis ved Iyd og blinkende lyssignal. Nar enheten i maskinrom (eventuelt i kontrollrom eller i begge deler) blir stilt overens med gitte signal, tilkjennegis dette ved at Iydsignal faller ut, og lyssignal slutter & blinke, d.v.s. gir over til fast lyssignal. Dette for & indikere hvilken ordre som er gitt. VARIANTER: Et standard maskintelegraf sett bestar av © broenhet for panelmontasje © maskinromsenhet for skottmontasje © membranhorn Maskinromsenhet for panelmontasje (kan leveres etter spesiell bestilling) Slaveenhet for skott- eller panelmontasje (kan leveres etter onske) TypeMT1: 3 ordrer forover, 3 ordrer akterover og stopp Broenhet for panelmontasj, maskinromsenhet for skottmontasje. Slaveenhet kan leveres som tilleggsutstyr. SPENNIN' Normal spenning er 24V DC, men utforelse for 220V AC kan leveres mot tillegg i pris. Effektforbruk max. 10W, samt 60W i tillegg ved signalgiving, BELYSNING: ‘Samtlige enheter har belyst skala. Belysning pa broenhetene kan dimmes. Signallys og ys pi skala dimmes uavhengig av hverandre. LYDSIGNAL: ‘Med hvert sett leveres et membranhorn for skottmontasje. Dette monteres i maskinrom pa en gunstig plass. RESERVEDELER: Med hvert sett maskintelegraf folger et sett standard reservedeler. An order is given from the bridge unit and activates an alarm function which is acknowledged by sound and flashing light signal. When the unit in the engine room (or possibly in the control room, or in both compartments) is lined up with the given signal, this is acknowledged by cessation of the sound signal and by the light ceasing to flash and becoming a fixed light signal, indicating which order has been given. VARIANTS: A standard engine telegraph set consists of : © bridge unit for panel mounting ‘© engine room unit for bulkhead mounting ‘© diaphragm horn Engine room units for panel mounting (can be supplied if specially ordered) Salve units (can be supplied for bulkhead or panel mounting as required) Type MT1: 3 orders ahead, 3 orders astern and stop. Bridge unit for panel mounting, engine room unit for bulkhead mounting. Push bution operation on both units. Slave unit can be supplied as extra. ‘Type MT 1-144: 3 orders ahead, 3 orders astern and stop. Bridge unit for panel mounting with switch and light signal for position set Engine room unit as for MT1 standard Slave unit can be supplied as extra VOLTAGE: ‘Normal voltage is 24V DC, but a model for 220 V AC can be supplied at extra cost, Max. load 10W and 60W in addition when signals are being given. ILLUMINATION: All units have illuminated dials Bridge unit illumination has dimmer facility. Indicating lamps and dial lighting can be dimmed independently of each other. SOUND SIGNAL: A diaphragm horn for bulkhead mounting is supplied with every set.
