Guidelines in the Implementation of Face-to-Face Classes during COVID-19 pandemic for College of
Business, Entrepreneurship and Accountancy (CBEA) at Cagayan State University – Andrews Campus

I. OBJECTIVES

This issuance shall serve as guide for CBEA IN HOLDING LIMITED Face-to-Face classes during
the COVID-19 pandemic and are willing to assume the responsibilities in complying with health and
safety protocols as mandated by the IATF.

II. SCOPE

As deemed program of priority by the JMC No. 2021-004 the two programs of CBEA namely
Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship shall conduct
limited face to face classes.

III. GENERAL GUIDELINES

A. Preliminaries
1. The Dean of CBEA duly noted by the Campus Executive Officer shall seek approval for the
conduct of limited face-to-face classes from the University President thru the Vice President
of Academics.
2. The University President shall recommend the approval of the program for limited face-to-
face.
3. The academic unit shall prepare;
a) The scheduling/ rescheduling of classes of the approved programs
b) The modification of the schedule of faculty affected by the limited face-to-face
4. The Dean of CBEA must prepare an action plan on the implementation of these guidelines.

B. Secure approval to the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Tuguegarao City


1. It is the responsibility of the Dean of CBEA to confer with LGU on matter of
implementation of limited face-to-face

C. The Role of the Stakeholders

1. Administrators
i. Provide assistance including technical and financial for the operationalization of the
limited face-to-face
ii. Ensure safety of all the members of the community on the delivery of limited face-
to-face classes
2. Faculty members
i. Cooperate with all the procedures to be followed inside the campus and classrooms
ii. Oversees classroom decorum and assure that students follow the health and safety
protocols while conducting limited face-to-face classes
3. Students
a) Follow the safety protocols and safe distancing at all times and should stay only at the
assigned rooms
b) Cooperate with all the procedures to be followed inside the campus and classrooms
c) Sign the student permission letter that their parents are allowing them to attend limited
face-to-face classes

4. Parents/ Guardians
a) Ensure the health condition of their children before allowing them to go to the school
b) Consistently remind their children of the safety protocols and safe distancing at all times
c) Ensure that their children bring health kit (alcohol/sanitizers, mask, face shield,
gloves,et.) at all times
d) If possible, prepare food for their children to bring to the school to avoid buying and
using of other’s utensils
e) Sign the permission letter that they are allowing their sons/daughters to attend limited
F2F classes for laboratory courses
f) Inform the College if the students is experiencing COVID-19 signs and symptoms

5. Crisis Management Committee


The CMC shall be created in compliance to the JMC 2021-004. The committee shall oversee
the implementation of health and safety protocols; disseminate appropriate and relevant
information to the stakeholders; take appropriate measures when risks and impacts of
COVID-19 may exist in the campus and surroundings communities.

D. Implementation of face-to-face classes

i. Requirements of students
a) Personal Protective Equipment (includes disposable and non-disposable laboratory
gown)
b) Alcohol
c) PhilHealth
d) Vaccination Card
e) Notarized Consent from Parent

ii. Triaging
Before the entry in campus
a) The Security Officer will take the Temperature and will let the student’s fill-up the
contact tracing form
b) Students with temperature higher than 37C will be held at the isolation area for
further assessment and management by the Campus Health and Safety marshal.
Before entering the College
a) The student’s will download on the Staysafe.ph app for contact tracing.
b) The Officer of the Day for the College will take the Temperature and make sure that
the students requirements are complete

iii. Snack/Lunch
a) Students will be asked to bring their own snack/meal. No student shall be allowed to
go out of the campus premises
b) The students will take their snack/meal at a designated area following the given
schedule
