SCOPE AND SCHEDULE OF WORK

1. The scope of work under this contract is meant for the maintenance and one
time repairing (replacing the items not repairable) of the Firefighting system
installed at Satyamev Judicial Officers’ Colony (Judicial Quarters) Building, Opp.
Nehru Foundation, Bodakdev, Ahmedabad as per the prevailing norms of the
government/statutory authorities and/or Rules/Regulations/Acts.

2. The contract period shall be of 1 year.

3. The contractor will be responsible to receive/renewal of N.O.C. from the


concerned statutory authority (Fire and Emergency Services, Ahmedabad
Municipal Corporation, Ahmedabad) as and when it is due during the contract
period.

4. The contractor will have to make physical visit to the said location of the
building before submitting the bid and must consider all aspects required to
comply with the rules, regulations and acts to receive the NOC from the
concerned statutory authority. The Contractor will give training to the
staff/officers of the Colony and/or person assigned with the duties, to operate
the Firefighting system.

5. The contractor shall carry out inspection, testing and checking of the system on
periodical basis as per the guidelines declared by the government/statutory
authorities and shall submit reports to the Nazir, District Court, A’bad (Rural).
He shall furnish details of any defect, requirement of replacement of any
parts/component of the Firefighting System, to the Nazir, District Court, A’bad
(Rural) for maintenance work/corrective measures.

6. Attendance of Emergency complaints as and when required if any and other


routine maintenance to keep the system in working condition.

Terms and Conditions


1. Before submission of the bid, the bidder will have to make a physical visit
to the site and examine the installed fire fighting system thoroughly. The
overall objective is to make all compliances to the latest rules and
regulations, guidelines with regard to fire safety norms and receive the
NOC from the relevant authorized/statutory body (Ahmedabad Fire and
Emergency Services, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation). Any
description of the building, type of fire fighting system installed, equipment
used in the entire bid document is only given for reference and overview.
Detailed examination at the site is required and bid should be made
according to the on-site observation and requirements.

2. Successful Bidder will have to submit Security Deposit of Rs. 20,000/- in


the form of Fixed Deposit of any nationalized bank in the name of
Principal District Judge, Ahmedabad (Rural) which will be released after
completion of the contract period.

3. Duration of the service contract may be extended up to 6 months beyond


the initial contract duration (subject to satisfactory performance and
mutual consent)

4. Bidder financial standing: The bidder should not be under liquidation,


court receivership or similar proceedings, should not be bankrupt. Bidder
to upload undertaking to this effect with bid.

5. Bidders are advised to check applicable GST on their own before quoting.
Buyer will not take any responsibility in this regards. All prices given
should be inclusive of GST.

6. For fulfilling the experience criteria any one of the following documents
may be considered as valid proof for meeting the experience criteria:

a. Purchase Order copy along with invoices with self certification by


the bidder that supplies against the invoices have been executed
b. Execution Certificate by client with order value
c. Any other document in support of order execution like Third Party
Inspection release note, etc

7. A) The Seller shall not assign the contract/sub contract in whole or part to
any entity without obtaining prior written consent of buyer
B) The Seller shall, notwithstanding the consent and assignment/sub-
contract, remain jointly and severally liable and responsible to the buyer
together with the assignee/sub contractor, for and in respect of the due
performance of the Contract and the Sellers obligations thereunder.

8. Without prejudice to Buyer’s right to price adjustments by way of discount


or any other right or remedy available to the buyer, buyer may terminate
the Contract or any part thereof without assigning any reason or service
any notice.
