To Upload Session Plan and Topic List:


Note: Course allotment to the faculties is the prerequisite.
a. Login from the employee login id to whom the course has been allotted. If any
course doesn’t get displayed that means the allotment isn’t done.
b. Go To-> My Profile-> Academics-> Session Plan of that subject.
c. Scroll and press the “Add Unit” of that subject on the left hand side.
Note: If you don’t have any unit (main topic) then put the same name as that of
the topic list.
d. Enter the Unit No and Unit Description and press the add buttons.
e. Once the units are added, go to-> Topic List. Enter the topic no.
f. If you want to add multiple topics all at once then bifurcate them with; symbol.
(E.g. Topic 1; Topic 2; Topic 3) and Submit.
Once both topic list and session plan is added->

Go To-> Session Plan-> Select the Unit from the dropdown.


a. Select the lecture type.
b. Enter the lecture no.
c. Select the proposed date.
d. Select the points to cover(Topic list previously added)
e. Select the Methodology
f. Select the conducted date and press on Add button.

Note: There is provision to upload the session plan from excel which is a
preferred option.
 Steps:
a. Go To-> My Profile-> Academics-> Session Plan of that subject.
b. Go To-> Import Excel-> Download the excel format.
c. Enter the lecture no, Proposed Date, points to cover, methodology, unit
no, conducted date.
Note: Keep the blank columns as it is. While saving the file, save it in excel
1997 to 2003 formats.
d. Once the file is edited, Go to-> Import Excel-> Upload File-> Preview will
be displayed and then Submit it.

Note: There is a provision to upload study material for students for that specific course.
( OPTIONAL)

a. Go to-> Session Plan-> Upload Content.


b. Select the Unit, topic.
c. Enter the description.
d. Select the content type (E.g. Lecture Note, Image, Audio/Video. URL, Reference, etc.)
e. Browse the file and submit it.
2. To Copy the session plan of a subject of different divisions for the same course:-

-> My Profile ->Academics-> session plan(Of the subject allotted to you)->


a.Select the Academic Year.
b. Select the class.
c. Select the division to which the session is supposed to be copied.
d. Select the course and elective batches if any.
e. Press on “Copy Session/ Teach Plan”.
Note: Firstly you will have to upload session plan for one division. To copy the
Functionality of another division, go to session plan of that subject and division and
then follow ‘a’ to ‘e’ steps.

3. To take Attendance:
a. Go to Attendance Module-> Student Attendance.
b. Go to that particular date’s timeslot by scrolling next or previous button.
c. Press the take button for that slot.
Note(If the slot isn’t available then the timetable hasn’t been filled.)
d. Select the topic taught in that session.
e. Take the attendance. Deselect the students whom to mark absent and submit it.
You can also send SMS to the students and their parents whom you have marked
as absent.
f. Also if the attendance is to be modified then go to that time slot against which
the attendance was taken. There you would find the Update button instead of
Take.

4. To mark attendance of two consecutive lectures.


Note: Ensure that the academic coordinator has allocated the consecutive
lectures to you.
a. In the attendance module, go to that slot’s allotment, select the topic out of
the topic list.
b. Below that you will get a check box with the next consecutive timeslot. Mark
that and select the topic for that session as well.
c. Then you may take attendance for both the sessions at once.
