Strategic Partnerships

udaan Capital is the fintech arm of udaan.com with the vision of democratizing and
formalizing trade credit in the distribution channel of emerging/large brands and trade
platforms in an organized manner by introducing a formal institution of financing in
between which can work as an Intermediary of Counterparty Risk. We partner with
brands/platforms to roll out customised Invoice Financing solutions for their distributor,
dealer, and retailer network. This ultimately allows the brands/platforms to accelerate their
receivables and de-risk their business. As a technology driven organisation with large scale
execution presence, we strive to focus on Tier 2,3 & 4 distributors, dealers, and retailers
across India to democratise the access to working capital solutions and make it highly
scalable.

The Strategic Partnerships team is the growth engine of udaan Capital and is responsible for
building a large scale, sustainable and high-quality SME loan book by partnering with
Enterprises as an Anchor. The role will require extensive networking within our target
industries along with primary and secondary research with exposure to CXO level
engagements.

Location: Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore

Job Responsibilities

• Building a funnel of qualified leads for the Strategic Partnerships team and
supporting them in deal closures
• Networking with CXOs and other decision makers across industry engagement
forums to generate industry insights and build innovative industry specific GTM
strategies
• Partnering with key stakeholders of the Anchors and growing the relationship to
capture higher penetration of the program

KRAs of the role

 Qualified Lead Generation – Building a funnel of prospect anchors in select


geographies/industries
 Industry Engagement – Partnering with various internal teams and delivering
industry engagement events to build meaningful business.
 Relationship Management/GMV Penetration – Delivering highest number of
borrower activations, disbursals and repayment for the month by effective
coordination with Anchor

Functional Competencies

 Customer Centricity and Problem Solving: Understanding the industry nuances


and customer requirements in detail and thereby offering customized lending
solutions
 Stakeholder Management: Ability to collaborate with diverse external and
internal stakeholders to onboard and scale Anchor programs
 Cross Functional Integration: Coordinate with Sales, Central Underwriting and
Product teams to continuously upgrade the Customer Value Propositions and
drive better user experience
 Perseverance: Individual need to be confident, self-starter and enthusiastic with
a strong sense of self-discipline, drive, and urgency
