Gaslands Creatures: Hellhounds

Miniature
The miniature can be any kind of dog so long as it will fit on a base the same size as a car and
at best a wolf painted with a black and orange color scheme.

Movement
This creature moves on gearshift phases 1-4 and attacks on those phases as well. When they
move they first pivot towards the nearest target and then depending on distance use either a
short, medium, or long template. It would initially go for a short, but When an enemy is farther
than a short use a medium, when they are farther than a medium use a long if a stationary
target is closer than short range they dont move forward but can still pivot if they need to
They will move around terrain to not hit it including dropped items.

Attacking
When hellhounds hit a vehicle they follow vehicle collision rules, are at gearshift 6, and will
smash and when they are hit by a collision they will evade. These creatures have 6 hp. When
there is a vehicle in front of them within medium range they will make a flamethrower attack that
is the same as if it was a front mounted flamethrower. If a target is within long range but out of
short range they make a pivot towards the target and move a short strait towards the target
which may cause a collision.

Alpha Hellhounds
Alpha Hellhounds have 10 hp, +3d6 to their ram attacks, and +2d6 to their flamethrower attack.
When a Hellhound decides to move if the Alpha is closer than any targets they move towards
the alpha using a lower template than they normally would for its range unless it is outside
double range. The alpha always moves first on its gearshift phases which are 1-5. I would
recommend giving the Alpha a red and white paint job or an interesting feature such as a
second head or horns.

Scenarios
There are actually a couple scenarios that these dogs can be used in and here is a few.

● Convoy: place a bus in the middle of a table edge pointing towards the other side. Place
your vehicles from a 50 can team within a short strait of the bus then place terrain.
Scatter about 5-10 Hellhounds on the table. The bus always has 1 stress token and on
gearshift phases 1 and 3 it moves forward using a short strait. The player wins if the bus
crosses to the other side but loses if the Hellhounds destroy it

● Hellhound Defence: place pieces as if you where playing base defence but instead of
another players team place 6 Hellhounds and an Alpha, then on each turn place 2 more
Hellhounds. The victory conditions are still the same.
● Alpha Hunt: place terrain then place 8 Hellhounds around an Alpha Hellhound. Then
place your vehicles on a board edge within long range of each other. The player wins
when they kill the Alpha.

Anything in this color is information required to play the Hellhound and everything else is my
opinion, advice, or flavortext.
