Donning of Gloves

1. Wash hands
2. Wear a mask and bonnet
3. Remove outer glove package touching only the non-sterile area
4. Open the inner package
5. With the thumb and first two fingers of dominant hand, pick the gloves on the palmar surface
touching only the inner surface of the gloves, make one step backward and glove the non-
dominant hand
6. With the gloved non-dominant hand, slip fingers underneath the cuff of the second glove, make
one step backward and glove the dominant hand.
7. Fix gloves properly

Removal of Gloves

8. Remove the first glove with glove-to-glove technique

9. Remove second glove with skin-to-skin technique
10. Dispose gloves properly
11. Wash hands
