As per the guidelines, 5 out of 11 districts in the State are to be selected for the Performance Audit.
The selection will be on the basis of Probability Proportional to Size Without Replacement (PPSWOR)
where the total size will be the total fund allocated to each state

Selection of districts:

 5 districts will be selected by PPSWOR method

 All districts have been arranged in descending order in terms of funds allotted
 Cumulative frequencies were computed against the total funds alloted
 The random numbers were taken continuously moving horizontally for all the strata
 Cumulative frequencies were correlated with the last three digits of the numbers of the random table
