SYSTEM START-UP-Purge air from cylinders and hoses as follows:

1. Install and plumb cylinders. Leave rod end clevis mounting disconnected from implement or machine frame as
the cylinders will stroke unevenly until air is purged from the ststem.
2. Ensure cylinders are supported so that the rod does not interfere with frame during air purging, otherwise bent
or broken rods or frame damage may occur.
3. Connect the rephasing cylinder system to the hydraulic supply then fully extend all cylinders, Cylinders should
be held in rephasing position for 30-40 seconds. Retract cylinders fully then repeat extension procedure until
air is purged and all cylinders stroke smoothly.
4. Connect cylinder rod ends then slowly raise and lower machine to check for:
1. Potential Binding
2. Leakage
3. Fouling of hoses, etc.
5. Ensure piston seal is retracted a minimum of 25mm from bypass area after phasing. Do not travel with
cylinders fully extended and fit travel locks when provided.
