I am Hong Jisoo (홍지수), also known for as Joshua (조슈아), a Korean-American Singer under Pledis
Entertainment. Joshua is a biblical name that means "God is my salvation" in Hebrew. I am best known
for being the sub-vocalist of the Boy Group Seventeen and its Vocal Unit. I was born and raised in
California, but returned in 2013 to begin my training with Pledis Entertainment. I am an only child whose
parents are both Koreans, but because I grew up in Los Angeles, I am confident in my ability to
communicate in English, as well as my ability to communicate in Korean. I am seventeen's gentleman,
they say that I don't get angry easily and talks softly. I also have a soft voice and am well-mannered.
Reading, playing guitar, singing, watching movies, working out, crafting bead bracelets, pottery, and
photography are some of my favourite hobbies. Sleeping and eating are also two of my favourite
