DTS SPECIAL TOPICS – Midterm Exam (MARTINEZ, JANELLE R.) March 26, 2022

1. I want to possess the state of being creative and be an innovator to promote the opportunities for
learning for the benefit of all. I know to myself that I have the heart in arts and with that I can share
my knowledge since I have the experience. I’ve been on a lot of trainings and workshops in the field
of arts. Creative also in a way of applying and sharing my strategies and setting a decision even in
quick instances in the field. Sharing my knowledge on technology as a millennial educator and giving
ideas on developing and promoting for a positive change. I want also to possess the confidence and
the ability to inspire for reason that I want everyone to build also their own and set good foundation
of learning.

2. I want the trait because that is the only way to strive an effective action to have a good result. With
that I will be aware and know my direction and strive excellence.

3. Example is under the field or the actual scenario or duty. Responsibilities in schools is not that easy
it takes time and experience. Example to that are in school general assembly, programs or activities
like foundation days, seminars & trainings and etc. Lots of problems may arise but I/we must be
capable and create decision for that to solve or resolve.

4. In my own opinion it’s a big YES because all are connected. Such may vary with experiences
depending on the different situations that may encounter but the goal is common. The main point of
the different traits is for the good effect and advantages that will serve as the key for betterment.

As a future educator envisioning to be an instructional leader, well I must adapt the traits and
characteristics of being an instructional leader. I will see to it that I will involve myself in one or more
professional education organizations, connected to other educators via social media. I will also facilitate staff
book studies, webinars, and collaborative analysis of student work. These opportunities provide continued
growth, collaboration, and networking with others in and outside our districts and maximize our resources
and learning capacity. Knowledgeable in neuroscience and provide professional development opportunities
and resources to ensure routines, expectations, learning experiences, and assignments are developmentally
appropriate, while simultaneously fostering healthy brain development. Then, develop instructional
leadership capacity in others by investing the time and effort to meet with novices and veterans to clarify
what is needed for success to occur. As a future instructional leader I must take into account to know how
provide the resources and support in order to encourage continual growth that is thru the knowledge that I
will get on seminars, trainings, observations and experience. I will promote values of care and equity within
the school and set direction and influence the members of the organization to link together toward meeting
organizational goals.
