IV - Your Task:

1. Examine your reading process and find out what approach/es you
usually use in reading English. Do you use the same or different
approaches when reading texts in English?
 YES because (like compare and contrast, prediction and inference,
summarizing, etc.) are solely for the purpose of boosting comprehension
of the text. Reading strategies are super important to teach because by
teaching them we show students how good readers think.

2. Recall your reading experience in the pre -test that caused you difficulty in
comprehending a particular text. Then discuss which schemata you think plays the
most important role.
 The linguistic schemata I think that without this it impossible to comprehend a
text.

3. Among the comprehension levels identified by R.M. Rudell (2001),which one or


ones do you think you need the most to help you become an efficient reader in
English? Explain your reasons and discuss how you can be helped to your reading
development of that particular level you find yourself weak.

4. Read the selection below then answer the questions that follow. Identify the level of
