TO: The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention-Arkansas Chapter (AFSP-AR)

SUBJECT: Kristina M. Johnson/AFSP-AR Working Agreement

This memorandum details the terms agreed upon by student writer, Kristina M. Johnson, and
client, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention-Arkansas Chapter (AFSP-AR) for their
partnership on the forthcoming Project 2025 Corrections Grant (as established for Dr. Barbara
Eplattenier's RHET 4375/5375 Grant Writing class).

For the duration of this volunteer relationship, the primary contact for AFSP-AR shall be
, followed first by , and second by Jacqueline Sharp. AFSP-AR and
Kristina Johnson shall meet or confer every 7-10 business days prior to funder selection. After
this, and depending on grant application deadlines, the two parties shall confer at least once per
week.

Conferences will take place via Zoom or email, unless otherwise specified. Phone contacts will
also be permitted as needed. In order to maintain regular correspondence, no more than one (1)
week shall pass between conferences. Should seven (7) business days pass with no
communication from one party, the other party shall make an inquiry. If, for any reason, no
response is given for said inquiry, the inquiring party may terminate this agreement. Furthermore,
should Mrs. Johnson breach any terms of confidentiality (i.e., share any sensitive information
regarding AFSP-AR constituents, etc.), AFSP-AR may terminate this agreement.

For the purposes of this volunteer relationship, the technologies to be used include Zoom, email,
phone, and Google Drive (for conferences and information/resource sharing). Should Mrs.
Johnson request any information, documentation, or other materials from AFSP-AR, said request
must be fulfilled within ten (10) business days. In general, types of information to be requested
include (but are not limited to) project-related content, organizational-related content,
collaborator information, general input, etc. Unless otherwise specified, said materials shall be
distributed electronically.

Both parties agree that Kristina Johnson owns all drafts of the grant in question and further agree
that Mrs. Johnson shall submit only one (1) final draft to AFSP-AR with no edits or resubmissions
required. Kristina Johnson gives AFSP-AR permission to reuse the finished grant for future
applications, and AFSP-AR agrees to give Mrs. Johnson credit for and notification of said reuse.
There is no expectation of incurred cost(s) to Mrs. Johnson, and therefore, no reimbursement will
be required.
Kristina Johnson will make a good faith effort to provide for AFSP-AR information on one
additional possible funder and a completed grant. AFSP-AR shall submit the final grant to their
agreed-upon funder for application, and the end of this volunteer relationship shall take place
upon handoff of the final grant draft from Mrs. Johnson to AFSP-AR. This agreement (and the
work done by Kristina Johnson) does not guarantee grant proposal will be funded wholly or in
part by any potential funder.

AFSP-AR gives permission for Kristina Johnson to use this grant (with information redacted as
needed) as a professional example of her writing. AFSP-AR also gives permission for any of the
documents (drafts, final examples, various assignments) produced in this class to be used as an
example of Kristina Johnson's work. This may mean inclusion of the documents in a school
portfolio, professional portfolio, or graduate school application; this is not a comprehensive list.
Prior to any method of future use, any and all identifying data regarding justice-involved
individuals or organizational data that could be identifying in nature is to be redacted from
documents (use of aggregated data is acceptable).

AFSP-AR and Kristina Johnson give permission for any of the documents produced in this class to
be used as examples in future classes, textbooks, or presentations (this includes assignments,
drafts, and final products), permitted that due credit is given. In order to preserve the integrity of
the grant and to facilitate the learning experience, names of the group, the executive director,
and the organization's address will not be changed. Project budgets will remain intact, but other
sensitive information such as the 501(c)(3) letters, EIN numbers, home phone numbers,
organizational budgets, etc., will be deleted, changed, or concealed for the group's protection.

The signatures below do hereby certify and solidify the agreement between the American
Foundation for Suicide Prevention-Arkansas Chapter (AFSP-AR) and Kristina M. Johnson.
