SCHOOL HEAD : Good day, everybody! I am (name), the school head of

(school). I offer all of you my deepest gratitude for making an effort on attending
to this virtual discussion.

[ An exchange of greetings will commence to avoid an awkward atmosphere. ]

DIRECTOR OF LIBRARY : Good day, too, Miss/Sir and to everyone.

SCHOOL TEACHER : It's an honor to take part of this meeting.
FARMING REPRESENTATIVE : I'm looking forward for what our sector could
contribute to what'll be talked about later.
COMMUNITY LEADER : Thank you for inviting me. I'll surely note the points
that I could be at help.

[ Back to the flow of the description. ]

SCHOOL HEAD : As per the first invitation the school has sent to everyone, this
meeting was firstly planned to happen on face-to-face mode, but the increasing
COVID-19 cases in our locality have left us with no choice but to shift to a virtual
medium.

COMMUNITY LEADER : Indeed, we have recorded an inclination of pandemic

trends. Rest assured, our sector is doing its best to stabilize the digits so we can
continue attending on our daily matters without the threat to our health.
SCHOOL TEACHER : I would like to add to what (name of community leader)
have said, this virtual platform ensures our safety and isn't necessarily an
inconvenience.
[ DIRECTOR OF LIBRARY and FARMING REPRESENTATIVE would nod
their heads to express their agreement. ]

SCHOOL HEAD : I am grateful to hear those thoughts from y'all. Before we

would dive into the discussion, let us first offer our individual prayers.

[mag-insert ng prayer dito, I am an atheist po. ]

SCHOOL HEAD : Alright! Let us begin. The declaration of COVID-19 as a

worldwide pandemic has truly posed a threat to the educational domain. We were
forced to change the system of deliverance which raised shock, discomfort and
confusion to our learners. It is in the times that the school should link itself to
different sectors in the community in order to strengthen its presence and
effectivity. We should work together upon the aim of giving a quality education.
I'd like everyone to forge a partnership with us to meet that goal.

DIRECTOR OF LIBRARY : I do resonate with that idea, Miss kharen acosta .

The current method of learning is a bit technical. It'll surely create gaps especially
on students that do not have access to the resources they need. As a representative
of the community library, I would provide a brief overview about what we can do
to lend a hand upon the matter.

SCHOOL HEAD : Yes, kindly take your time.

FARMING REPRESENTATIVE : We're all ears.

DIRECTOR OF LIBRARY : The library has received sufficient funding from the
government that allowed us to recruit more staffs. We are planning on setting up a
section for children with special needs, host seminars/talks every week and create
monthly poster, poetry and essay competitons to which children could display their
capabilities. We are also open for  special occasions such as Women's Day or
Women's Month to celebrate women's accomplishments and to developing
women's empowerment and gender equality topics, challenges, and commitments.
We will provide a gift certificate to women teachers and encouraging words to
women and girls to show our appreciation for their accomplishments. Finally, the
library is available to students who require a place to conduct research and
complete assignments.

SCHOOL HEAD : (smiles) The initiatives you've mentioned have great potentials.
I'd be looking forward on talking about it in depth with you, soon.
DIRECTOR OF LIBRARY : Yes, we shall approach you once we have finalized
our plans.

SCHOOL TEACHER : I do agree to the comment of Miss/Sir (name of school

head). The plans of (name of director of library) would surely be beneficial for the
learners. In fact, I do believe that each sector in the society have the potential to
contribute in alleviating the way children learn. Personally, I am relieved and
happy that I can get help on crafting teaching materials which reflects who we are
as a community. Yet, we should also ponder upon the concerns of timetabling,
syllabus completion, examinations and pressure existing on the domain of primary
education.

[insert the ppt of the School Teacher here along with his/her explanation about it. ]

SCHOOL HEAD : Yes, we would tap into those issues after a finalized framework
would be handed to me by the library.
DIRECTOR OF LIBRARY : No worries, we'll surely be able to finish polishing
next week. I'll include you, Miss/Sir (name of school teacher), on my conversation
with Miss/Sir (name of school head) in the future.
FARMING REPRESENTATIVE : I would like to present suggestions from the
farming industry, too. I am here to emphasize that special arrangements must be
made tor children that'll visit farms to ensure their safety. Most of them are too
young which makes them vulnerable to risks and they may disrupt the production
process of the farm itself. However, we are more than willing to work with
teachers in developing materials that visualizes what we do.

[insert the ppt of the Farming Representative here along with his/her explanation
about it. ]

SCHOOL HEAD : I support the suggestion of (name of farming representative).

There is a high rate of accidents on farms involving children. It would be much
safer for children to be in a convenient environment that still guarantees learning.
SCHOOL TEACHER : I see, I would coordinate with (name of farming
representative) regarding this matter. Without a doubt, the school's teaching staffs
would extend their participation.

COMMUNITY LEADER : I commend everyone's movement to further integrate

the school in the community. A movement of this kind has actually been long
overdue. I am glad that we're making progress in it. These integrated efforts will
enable us to provide input in the cultural and civic education of children. I am
expecting that the school will also implement its duties in helping to solve
community problem through its education activities. In an instance, would the
teachers assist illiterate parents to read and write? In this context, the community
leaders would surely try to inform the parents about the importance of sending
their children to school.

[ Everyone nods. ]

it. ]
SCHOOL HEAD : This wraps up our discussion for today. Again, thank you very
much for the effort and participation of everyone. The school would surely
communicate with each of your sectors in order to implement the suggestions
you've mentioned. We are together in the movement of giving a quality education
to our learners.

Patungo sa mas magandang bukas, tayo'y iisa. [ This closing remark is optional. I
just added it to conclude the flow. ]
