ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: BE/ME

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 6+ years

JOB LOCATION: CHENNAI (Should be open to travel abroad)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

 The Candidate shall mandatorily have experience in Detailed Engineering of

Process Plants such as Water Treatment Plant, Effluent Treatment, Chemicals,
oil &gas and Specialty Chemicals.
 Candidate should have overall view of project schedule and cost aspects and
should possess knowledge of applicable International standards.
 Should have experience of working on EPC project and do value engineering to
reduce the project cost.
 Job planning, allocation and review of activities carried out by junior team or
other third party and/or Owner's Engineering team members
 Value engineering
 Knowledge of code, standards, statutory and regulatory guidelines is must.
 Should be a self-starter and should work independently with minimum
supervision.
 Coordination with Process, Piping, Electrical and Mechanical department.
 Review /Preparation Cable & cable tray routing/estimation (including
Specifications).
 ITP - Review & Preparation of Technical Queries.
 Preparing MTO/BOM Providing technical support to the purchase team.
 Supporting procurement team in vendor evaluation, TBE preparation &
Selection, Pre & Post Offer placement, etc.
 Prepare/Review Specifications of the Electrical scope like Cables, Cable Trays,
Motors, MCC, PCC, HV & LV Systems, Etc.
 Review/Sizing & Selection of Power Cables & Cable Tray.
 Design/Review of Earthing and the complete Layout of the Plant.
 Familiar in Design of power distribution equipment.
 Review the Design of Control schematics, SLD, Panel Layout, Field Wiring
Schematics, Etc.
 Review/ Preparation of Control Schedule and Interconnection Schedule.
 Knowledge of the Hazardous area working environment and adapt Design
features accordingly.
 Single point solution for Electrical related issues in ongoing project.
 Good communication skills and experience of handling client meetings.
 Shall be an interface between consultant and client.
 Job Location will be in Chennai. Deputation of 6-8 months to Qatar initially
(duration extendable based on project requirement).

Remuneration: 40,000 INR/month + (additional 35$ per day while working in Qatar)
