1. Kung may tinanim, may aanihin.
Answer: Meaning to say, our future will be the result of the effort we put in today. This
proverb is something that we tend to think about on a daily basis. It’s a sort of, not really about
hard work but I think it reflects the outcomes of putting hard work into things that we want to
do. The way I see it is that, if we are willing to put a lot of effort into perfecting a certain thing
and that is like planting the seed for which will be harvested that can be a good grade or to
perform well for what I was working.
2. Hangga't makitid ang kumot, matutong mamaluktot.
Answer: Meaning to say if your blanket is too short to cover you completely with your legs
straight, bend them so that you fit. In other words, learn how to adapt to your environment and
be satisfied with what you have. If you have less in life, learn to be frugal until you come to the
point when you can spare some money for a little bit of luxury. This proverb speaks of learning
how to endure hardships. It teaches of knowing how to adjust in times of crisis. It would remind
us of the value of spending accordingly and adjusting to the situation.
