Notes: -
a. Short circuit A & B = (when F67 setting is = Jump) Access to F60 ~ F99 is prohibited. Instrument
will go to normal operating mode when powered on.
b. Short circuit B & C = (when F67 setting is = Jump) Instrument will go to setting mode
automatically when powered on. Access to F60 ~ F99 is allowed.
Notes: -
Pay attention to the polarity of above point a and point f. Wrong polarity will cause
un-recoverable damages to both the relay board and this instrument.
Maximum external voltage input = DC24V.
Maximum current per each output = 200mA.
External DC input is common for all control output port.
Common of all relays are independent to others.
The built-in relay board is powered by through the DC input externally. If the built-in relay
board is used, always plug the external power adaptor which comes with this instrument.
External power adaptor by others may cause in-recoverable damage to both instrument and
built-in relay board into the DC jack input on the back of the instrument.
Output indicator will lit on when the corresponding control output is in action.

3. Internal Functions & Settings
Refer to 3.4 for preferred operation parameters settings.
Notes: -

F1~F29 are accessible by user without restriction .
F60~F99 are restricted functions which request a password or on board jumper to access.
Refer to 2.3 for details. These functions are for dealer and authorized personnel only and all
settings to these functions are monitored and recorded by the built-in trailer counts.
Set F1 value being shown to zero and to display the net span gain of additional load

If password mode is used, enter correct password when “P ----“appears. Default password = 0000, which also
means no password control. To enable password control, go to F60 and input any 4-digit password other than
0000.
If entering a restricted internal function (F60 ~ F99) by password is not allowed, set the setup & calibration control
jumper to B & C (refer to 2.3 for details). After calibration and settings, place this jumper back to calibration disable
position (A & B), otherwise, this instrument will not function.
To change time, press [Print/M+], then enter a new value and press [Print/M+].

Weight Value
Near Zero value is useful for dynamic weight check applications to bypass unnecessary LO alarm
during uploading and unloading process. Notes: -
Value entered valid only when Check function is activated.
Near zero weight value can be any value between 20d and LO limit.
Any near zero value which less than 20d will be ignored. Instrument will
deem 20d as minimum near zero weight value.
The HI LO comparison remains non-activated when weight reading is less
than the near zero value entered here.

Yes: - Instrument will ask for operator number during countdown process
when power on. Enter 4-digit operator number or press [CE x 10] to skip
operator number when being asked.
No: - Instrument will not ask for operation number.
Read Calibration and parameter set counts.
O (Parameter set count): - shows total times that the important parameters
F29
(F80~F88) has been altered.
C (Calibration count): - shows total times of calibration.

4. Recommended System Setting Procedures3
1. Connecting load cell platform / junction box.
2. System Initialization If necessary…. (F6).
3. Check internal count value from load cell / junction box (F1).
4. Check LCD segment and backlight colors (F2).
5. Set date format and date value (F4).
6. Set time (F5).
7. Check and set all other operation parameters from F7 to F27.
8. Set password (F60).
9. Set operation characteristics (F61 ~ F66).
10. Set main weight unit for calibration, capacity and division (F80).
11. Set decimal point (F81).
12. Set capacity (Max1 in case of dual weighing range or dual weighing interval mode) (F82).
13. Set division (e1 in case of dual weighing range or dual weighing interval mode) (F83).
14. Set Max2 in case of dual weighing range or dual weighing interval mode (F84).
15. Set e2 in case of dual weighing range or dual weighing interval mode (F85).
16. Set gravity factor of calibration place (F86).
17. Set gravity factor of operation place (F87).
18. Set linearity compensation on/off (F88).
19. Build new linearity compensation co-efficient (F89).
Note: -
When doing system setting, always follow the internal function number numeric order, e.g. F80 must be
set prior to F81; likewise, F82 has to be set prior to F84.
Notes: -
At this point, the metrology characteristics are set.
Once the capacity of a specific weight unit is set, the capacity of other weight units will be set
automatically. Conversion formula: - 1kg = 1000g = 2lb; 1lb = 0.5kg = 500g.

6. Calibration Methods & Procedures
6.1 Calibration Weight
To ensure accurate calibration result, only standard weights should be used for calibration. Make sure that all the
mass of the standard weights used is within maximum permissible error (mpe) of the weight class. Class IV standard
weights are not suggested for calibration.
Notes: -
In case of password is used: - Instrument starts countdown. Instrument is ready for operation
after countdown.
15
In case of calibration control jumper: - Instrument displays JP on. Power off instrument, place
back the calibration jumper to calibration disable position. Then power on again, instrument is
ready for operation after countdown process.
As protection, should the calculated result obtained through user calibration vary more than
1% as of the result generated by F89, user calibration result will be rejected and error
message will be displayed.
16
7. Error Codes
Error Code No. Description
Err 4 Offset out of range / unstable during power on (5 minutes for OIML and NTEP mode)
Err 7 Logic error. HI limit set is lower than LO limit (and HI is not = 0)
Err 12 (F25 Mode 3 and Mode 4) Actual weight is higher than SP3

Err 27
problem.
Err 28 Maximum accumulation limit is exceeded.

commands can be sent to this instrument from computer through any standard communication program.
By means of system parameter commands through another computer which is connected to this instrument, remote
diagnosis, repair and recovery is possible.
