Cover Letter

Having experience of around 7.5 years in development sector, I have had so many chances to be
around young and like-minded people from different sections of society including both haves
and Have nots. This further means that I have always experienced working with new thoughts,
creative minds and out of the box people. My current role gives me an ample opportunity to
handle a team of 25 people who are very much skilful in the domain of research and analysis. As
a consultant, I work with data and convert it into such analytics wherein the client is given the
final products. The timely deliverable of client report and analysis and feedback of the data help
in learning and unfolding new experiences every day.
During initial stage of my career when I started my own venture in Pathrota village, Itarsi M.P, I
worked with a team of 9 people. Those are my students, they have, due to some or the other
circumstances have dropped out of the school which I feel is absolutely fine unless they are
engaged in some productive work.
I assumed that they all are 10 th drop outs so they must have had a background of
letters/words/sentences and I will play with them on Computers and will make them computer
operators but when I found that I had to start with them right from the stage of English
alphabets my enthusiasm level had gone up to thousand times. I spent one and half years with
those 9 people. They all are now working as a computer operator, Back support, Receptionist in
the local area of Itarsi. I was responsible for overall management of the project and also
providing skill-based training to youth. In Itarsi I also had experience of training teachers on
“Pedagogical methods of teaching”.
I am fortunate to work with differently able people at Samarthnam Trust for the disabled,
Bangalore, Where I was involved in projects writing proposals. I should be able to bring skills of
handling people with special needs with me and also writing skills for partnering with
organizations.
During my working tenure in Navjyoti India Foundation as a Cordinator – Skill upgradation
program. I have been handling two projects here which make my life full of energy, newness
and fun. Both the projects are from different domain. One is placements of apprentices of
community college where I partner with companies to show-case our students and their skills to
get them placed with reputed companies on the other hand Adarsh Gram project is a
completely different project with stakeholders from village, Government and local
administrations. I coordinate for
almost all the local events and celebrations in the village. This very experience makes my full of
celebrations. I have enjoyed every moment of my career and would want to bring those
experiences and ideas to your organization so as to leave no stone unturned to work at my best.

Sincerely

Sweta
