This range of cutting machine operated by numerical controls allow metal sheets of thickness from :
- 3mm to 250mm to be cut by oxycutting,
- 0.6 to 150mm to be cut by plasma process (according to NERTAJET equipment)
The width of the sheets varies from 2000 mm to 6000 mm according to models.
These machines use the oxycutting, plasma cutting and marking processes with one or several heads
according to versions.
This equipment is designed for all industries producing ferrous or non-ferrous materials, which
conduct electricity.
The diversity of solutions offered meets the requirements of the most widespread applications :
⇒ Sheet metalworking
⇒ Dockyards
⇒ Steel plate works
⇒ Training centres
⇒ Agricultural and railway equipment
⇒ Ventilation and stove setting
⇒ Equipment for public works
Etc.…
These motorizations are fitted on floating axis to ensure an optimum transmission between outlet
pinion of gear and rack.
Motor, high frequency variator and HPC Digital Process controller assembly ensure maximum
accelerations.
The characteristics of this shaft allow the motion to be followed up to :
10 m/min with dual motorization
In case of dual motorization, the interlocking system between X1 and X2 motors is by means of
an electric shaft.
Fast travelling speed is 15 m/min
OXYTOME E
PO 150E tool-holder
The PO 150E is composed of a dust-tight casing. It contains the mechanical
and electrical elements used to raise and lower the tool. The DC low voltage
geared motor unit associated to a screw-nut system ensures the constant
speed and the correct guiding of the tool-holder.
Up and down limit switches guarantee displacement safety.
Characteristics :
- speed………………… 2 m/min
- electrical travel …........ 150 mm
• Working speed from 0 to 10m/min with dual motorization (synchronisation between the motors)
• Fast travelling speed of 15m/min
• Useful cutting length = 9 m
• Front gas control panel
This machine is equipped with a controlled gas panel located
on the control console and easily accessible for the operator.
This panel has the following functions :
• Adjustment of heating and (or) gas and oxygen overheating pressure
• Adjustment of cutting oxygen pressure
• Adjustment of progressive increase in pressure of cutting oxygen
0255-75
• Adjustment of the level for progressive cutting oxygen
• HPC DIGITAL PROCESS - Numerical Control & process management (see details hereafter)
• 1 oxycutting machine torch(es) for MACH 3S nozzles
• Minimum distance between 2 torches = 155mm
• Electric ignition for each oxycutting torch
This option allows ignition to be obtained from the control console,
using a pilot flame located near the different torches.
• One ignition is required per torch on PO 150(E).
• Plasma installation Nertajet HP 125 with OCP 150 torch and following equipment :
– N2/Water Vortex process for stainless steel cutting from 1 to 12 mm
Please note that water cutting table is not included this has to be provided locally
• Cutting software equipment : Lantek Expert Cut Plus (see details hereafter)
For others options, please see our « OXYTOME / PLASMATOME » leaflet, or contact us.
Performance levels allows real-time dynamic control thanks to the Windows 2000 sophisticated
contouring algorithm and ensuring optimal quality and constant precision
for cutting.
A multitasking system allowing programmes to be written in « masked time »
Simple procedures for uploading and downloading programs to and from a PC (RS 232
connection), integrated 3.5”–1.44 MB floppy disk drive, USB connection or any other host using
different protocols.
50 pre-programmed standard shapes adapts the type of lead-in to internal or external cuts.
Programmable functions dynamic kerf correction (several kerf values in the same program),
tool offset for each tool, storage of four different work site locations
Part geometry quick and easy adaptation - scale factor, mirror function in X or Y-axis,
rotation of the part, choice of start position within original program.
15 ’’ COLOUR TOUCH SCREEN
The high-quality industrial grade is the communication base of the system. It provides
access to all the software components used for total management of plasma cutting
machine functions.
The functions are accessed via large buttons with a symbol representing the operation.
HMI (Human-Machine Interface)
The selection tabs on the 4 main screens provide links between the various aspects of the job:
part geometry, process, plate management or machine parameters.
This interface is intuitive, interactive and user-friendly, designed for setting up a dialogue
between machine and operator and ensuring the best solution for your essential production
requirements and the various processes you use.
Using the process before validating the start of cutting, you will find the references of
the plasma torch wear parts to be used and their consumable state. Selection of the process,
the tool holder movements, start up of the generator, access to help and user's manuals,
definition of protected access levels.
JOB function to store combination of process management to a program loaded and selected
in numeric control - then used by any operator whenever required.
CONTROL CONSOLE
This unit houses all the functional controls of the machine (start-up and emergency
stop operations, 8-direction touch pad...)
It is positioned embedded and able to swivel on PLASMATOME and OXYTOME machines.
14. Integration.
Integrates part design, nesting and manufacturing technology in just one program. This integration
reduces the time and effort required to generate numerical control programs.
They provide:
• Direct access to the part data base without quitting the programme.
• High productivity rate. Just indicate the number of parts required and the programme will
obtain the best nesting.
• Reuse of remnants.
• Multi-torch management.
24. Teamwork.
This system is available to work independently or for installation in a local area network.
The cutting torch MACH 3S is equipped for MACH 3S nozzles, which allow optimum
cutting performance on carbon steel from 6 up to 300 mm.
Due to the high quality of its central cutting jet, the cut is both
square and straight. MACH 3 S allows cutting with the torch until
40 mm far from the plate surface according using conditions,
This improves the useful life of the nozzle due to reduced risks from
molten projections from the plate adhering to the nozzle.
The MACH 3 S offers a balanced and uniform heating in
all directions thanks to the 14 perfectly calibrated jets,
The MACH 3 S is particularly resistant to « backfire » of the flame.
However, its high cutting speeds offer the lowest operating costs per cut metre.
NERTAJET HP 125
The NERTAJET HP 125 power source allows the automatic
plasma-cutting torch to be supplied with direct current from
the main supply.
the installation.
OCP 150
In an OCP torch an electrode is inserted with a shape suitable for plasmagene
gas, selected according to the application.
The torch-end receives a nozzle, which, through the combined effect of
the electric arc and the plasmagene gas, forms plasma.
The resulting high temperatures melt the material, which is to be cut
(electricity conductor), and the kinetic action of gas on it effects
the cutting kerf.
The numerous possible assemblies on OCP torches make them universal tools
using the very latest techniques for transferred plasma arc ; maintenance,
replacement of consumables and change of process are facilitated
by a patented removable torch body design.
