Practicum Project meeting minutes

Agenda items
1. structure of GAGC presentation — round table talk + creating a survey for them and
based on results -– Dr. Hines will facilitate discussion, while Lauren and Hannah take
meticulous notes regarding TABs utilization for educational professionals and purpose.

a. survey questions: Asking feedback for digitizing it – would it help if TABs were
in a digital format versus a hardcopy? Feedback from people for how they have
used it, etc. What funding DON’T you have that would be helpful if you did?

2. TABs GAGE CAE meeting and significance to talent development (future study – Hannah
and Lauren may utilize and search for research regarding this)

3. We are creating Hub not only for training — Also, figuring out what Website Pages we
want to create for the hub.

a. 1) Landing Page (description and rationale for site)

b. 2) background page – talk about origination of TABs, assumptions and principles

that it’s based on; rationale for using TABs, mention that it can be used both
for identification and for program and services within education

c. 3) Page about training – menu for what you can hire the Torrance Center to
come and do for you

d. 4) Page for exemplars for TABs

e. 5) Page for the current research + purpose behind it, and for an open-survery
for how they use it or why they want to use it
 f. 6) Different tools and brief description for how they’re used… “Panning for
Gold” – visual idea for website, spin off of it, and extending metaphor on the
website.
