David Emile Durkheim was a French sociologist. He is known as one of the principal
architects of the modern social science along with Karl Marx and Max Weber. He is also
known as the ‘Father of Sociology’.

The two clearest points from Durkheim are-

1. Division of labour = Durkheim subsequently sets out an investigation of the division

of labour which underlines the extraordinary elements of every one of sort of
occupation and try. The natural model, with a well working body, where every organ
appropriately serves it, work is by all accounts highest to Durkheim. Durkheim's
strategy recognizes the reason for the capacity from the genuine capacity filled. That
is, Durkheim notices the capacity that the occupation fills in the public eye, however
endeavours to explore the advancement of the reason in a recorded way, analysing
how this function has emerged.

Durkheim is likewise giving an analysis of the economic models which contend that
individuals with various specialties meet up to exchange the results of their strengths.
For Durkheim, specialties are not normal in any sense, but rather are created. While
there might be an incredible comparability among these, public contrasts arise. In that
sense, Durkheim has an authentic model, reasonably decidedly grounded on the
material factors.

2. Social fact = Durkheim developed the social theories and described how values,
culture and standards impact the activities and convictions of people and society.
Durkheim characterized social science as the investigation of social realities which he
characterized as cultural activities. Individuals in a general public appear to pick the
same things where they reside, eat and interact with each other.

The society to which they have a place shape them to do these things, propagating social
facts.
