1. Cine Display (Video display of multiple images) 2D Techniques

1-1. Showing one series in


cine display
   (normal cine display)
(1) Open the desired patient data, and select
the frame for performing cine display.
(The frame image chosen at this point is a
(2) 2D image)
(2) Click … . The Cine Display window opens
at the lower left of the screen.
  Alternatively, click …. and choose
Cine Display from the Analysis menu.

(3) (3) Set the Interpolation Type and Display


Interval.
(4) Click        to start the cine
display.

Maximum number of slices: 1,000

Position Interpolation: Interpolates the image display interval by
position (down to 0.1㎜).
Time Interpolation: Interpolates the image display interval by time
(down to 0.01sec.).
Display Interval: Set the cine display speed (from 1 to 9,999).

Cine display can also be used by holding down the left button on the
mouse while moving the mouse vertically.
Alternatively, cine display can also be used by turning the mouse scroll
wheel.
2D Techniques

1-2. Showing desired


slices in cine display
(1) To select the required slice, click
.
(2) The Select Slice window will
appear.

(3) Use the mouse to click the first


slice.
Click the first    Next, hold down the Shift key on
slice. the keyboard while using the
mouse to click the last slice.

1-3. Synchronizing slices from


different series or different

2. Multi-Slice Addition (Superimposing multiple slices)
(1) Open the target patient data and click Image
Calculation … . Alternatively, click …. and
select Image Calculation from the Analyze menu.

(2) Select Multi-Slice Addition and click ….

(3) Click … if using a previously selected series.


(4) Check for insertion in the lower box, and click ….
(5) Set the No. of Additions, the Image Pitch and the
Weight Setting. The number of images following
(3) calculation, the table position and the slice thickness are
displayed.
*Changes to the No. of Additions and Image Pitch are
reflected in the image in the window.
* Weights are changed with the Weight Setting. The
setting’s value range is from 1 to 5. Use 1 as the usual
value for the setting.

(6) To save the addition images, click ….


Normal scan
Ex) Data with slice thickness 2.5 mm, and table index 10 mm
(1) 2 slices with the pitch set to 2:
Result> images created with a slice thickness of 5mm,
with 5mm intervals.

(2) 2 slices with the pitch set to 1:


Result> images created with a slice thickness of 5mm,
(4) with 2.5mm intervals.

Volume scan (3D original data, etc.)


Ex) Data with slice thickness 1.25 mm, table speed 3.75 mm
and reconstruction pitch 1 mm
(1) Calculating with No. of Addition set to 2 and the
Image Pitch set to 2:

3. MPR Operation Procedure (Real time mode)
(1) Display the target patient images, and click
Real Time MPR . Alternatively, click
… and choose Real Time MPR from
the Analyze menu.
(2) is displayed in the window. To select
the ref. image, click either … or
….
(3) The Real Time MPR window opens at the
lower left. Click … after dragging the
yellow frame and performing area settings.
(4) All images from the same series as the
standard screen are automatically read, and
MPR processing is carried out.

Maximum number of
slices: 1000

(Note 1)
The scanogram image cannot be set at the standard screen for
MPR processing. Choose the original image.
2D Techniques

3-1. Sagittal and coronal images


settings
(1) Adjust the image position by dragging the
cross-lines ( ) on the axial image, and
dragging on the sagittal and/or coronal images.

(2) To save the images, select the images to save


and then click ….

  Select the save format and click ….

3-2. Setting the oblique image


  Click … in the Real Time MPR window,
in the lower left of the window. Drag the
yellow line on the window and adjust the
image position.

Set the oblique line for each image.


Place the cursor on the line and adjust:
the line angle
the line position

To save the image, follow the same


procedures as in step 3-1. (2).
2D Techniques

3-3. Desired cross sectional image


settings
  Desired cross sectional image settings are
carried out using axial, sagittal and coronal
images.
Click … in the Real Time MPR window, at
the lower left of the screen. Click the cross
section for which to draw a CURVE. The cursor
changes to ….
To change the cross section during the setting of
the curve, turn the scroll wheel.

A CURVE line can be set on each image.


Draw a curve trace on each image,
tracing the target part. Move the mouse
while holding down the mouse button.

To save the images, follow the same


procedures as in step 3-1. (2).

3-4. Double oblique settings


  The cross sectional image settings for the cross
sectional image are carried out using axial,
sagittal and coronal images.
Click … in the Real Time MPR window, at
the lower left of the screen. The angle and
positional settings can be carried out with the
TRA/SAG/COR cross section.
*The red and blue points and lines are reflected
for each color.
To save the images, follow the same
procedures as in step 3-1. (2).

To create and save multiple cross sections


at once, use the multi-slice settings.

3-5. Double on double oblique


settings
You can set continuous oblique images.

(1) Perform the operation in step 3-4 to display


(1) (2) a double oblique image.

(2) Click to display the setting window.


(3) In DOUBLE OBLIQUE Mode, select
OBLIQUE ON DOUBLE OBLIQUE.
Set the desired angles in the 3 cross
sections from the top left.

(3) Perform the operation in step 3-1(2) to


save the image.

(2) 3-6. Multi slices settings


After making double oblique settings, you can
save images, including before and after the cross
section.

(1) Click the checkbox for multi slice settings.

(2) The Multi slice setting window appears.

(3) Set the number of images and the slice


interval. You can change the image shown in
(3) the lower right frame with or in
Select Slice, by clicking.

(4) You can enter comments for the image to be


saved in the empty field under Series
Comment.

currently displayed (of the multi slice images

all of the images you have created.

(1) Setting: Display/hide the setting window

the MPR image. Select the thickness and
display format in the setting window.

Display Ref. CT image: Display a reference

image for other than the axial image. You can
click to change the position (pattern) of the
reference image and the image size under “Ref
Image” on the Settings window.
