WARRANTY CONDITIONS

Obligatory conditions for the erection and commissioning supervision

Clause a) Supervisor must be an permanent employee of ALSTOM POWER.

Accreditation
b) All the instructions described in the Erection, Assembly & Commission-
ing manual must be supervised exclusively by ALSTOM POWER
employee enabled by ALSTOM GRID CUSTOMER Service Villeurbanne
(France).

c) The ALSTOM POWER supervisor of the erection and commissioning

must be in possession of the enabling valid certificate.

d) For the first erection and commissioning of a ALSTOM GRID GCB, the
ALSTOM POWER supervisor must fulfil a training session of 5 days in the
training centre DAFEP (Villeurbanne, France)

e) After this training the ALSTOM POWER supervisor must be trained at

site by the ALSTOM GRID supervisor to get the validity of the certificate.

f) This certificate will be valid only for two years.

Process All instructions described in the manual, tests values, adjustments will have
to be in accordance with the site criteria and notified in reports RES (Commis-
sioning test report) to be sent to ALSTOM GRID by fax (+33 (0)4 72 68 33 90)
for checking.
ALSTOM GRID will then confirm warranty for each provided Gen Circuit
Breaker to ALSTOM POWER Purchaser dept (see P.O).

Warranty The ALSTOM GRID equipment warranty will be valid only if this clause is fol-
lowed.
