Freddie Mercury By Francisco Cruz

Why I chose
him?

• Freddie Mercury is someone I admire because he

didn’t allow himself to be defined by his where he
was from or his sexuality sexuality. No matter
what he was unapologetically himself and didn’t
change for anyone. This is evident in his
appearance and his musical creations. He would
often dress as royal court jesters or wear tight
fitting clothes, and blended genres such as opera
into rock music, something that had never been
done before. Despite all this, he became one of
the most legendary front men of all time.
