Project #6

I was able to accomplish project planning in my projects by doing the proper research needed
for each assignment. Whether the research be the proper chapter readings or external research for the
assignment. I also achieved project planning by being able to plan out my projects. Having a plan on
what resources to use and when to dedicate time to the assignment is crucial in project planning.

Project analysis was accomplished in my projects by identifying my project’s readers and context
relative for the audience. I did this by knowing who to acknowledge in my writings as my target
audience and catering my writings to them. It is extremely important to know your target audience so
that your letters will be more effective and efficient.

Content development was accomplished by understanding how genre conventions impact my

writings. Conveying the information in my writings to my target audience is crucial. You must be able to
relay information to your reader in a way that everything stated will stay with them and be understood
by them. IF you send a writing to someone without being able to convey your information in a way, they
will understand it will either render your writing useless or be taken in a way that may do the opposite
of what you seek.

Organization design was accomplished in my writings by doing extensive research in my projects

and sometimes rereading the chapters to get a better understanding on how to make my writings mor
effective. Being able to use multiple sources for research is important especially when trying to make a
more compelling case for the outcome you seek. In project 4 I was able to use multiple sources to show
multiple sides of the company Coca-Cola. These different sources showed not only how successful and
how much of an impact the company has made, but also showed the issues Coca-Cola has had as a
company.

Written Communication was accomplished by structuring my writings in a clear and stylistically

responsible prose. This means that I had to make sure my writings did not have any errors and pay
attention to the needs of my audience. Stated before it is important to mold your writings to your
audiences need to hopefully get the outcome desired. It is also important to make sure writings do not
have errors that will make them look not professional and may take away from the information trying to
be conveyed.

Visual communication was accomplished in projects that required for graphical additions to the
writings or other forms of presentations to go along with the writing. This is important skill to help reach
a broader audience than just making the writings catered to one audience. This was seen in the proposal
project and the info flyer part of project 5. In the proposal project we had to think of ways to reach out
in the community for support of the change we wanted to implement. This was done with flyers and a
mock news interview to grab the attention of those wanting to support our cause.

Reviewing and editing was accomplished by going over my writings to make sure my message
was clear, there were not spelling or grammatical errors, and to make sure I met the necessary
requirements for the projects. This was also achieved by having other parties look at my projects as well
to ensure I did not miss anything or if there is more that should be added. Having an outside opinion my
papers was crucial for me. I made sure to have at least on person read over my projects before
submission for the reasons stated.

Content management was achieved by using the knowledge gained of textual information and
being able to organize it and convey it in a way that was easy for my target audience to understand.
Content management is also achieved with online portfolios by gaining the knowledge of web content
management. It was also accomplished in the proposal project by using the researched knowledge and
convey it in a multiplatform model to reach as many members in the community as possible.

Production and Delivery was accomplished with developing the necessary skills to present
information across various forms of media. In the proposal project this was done as an outreach to the
community with not only the proposal letter, but also with mock interviews, radio messages, and flyers.
This was again done project 5 where a complaint and support letter was written and then an info flyer
was created to go along with the complaint letter as well.
