• MIN TREAD DEPTH = 10"

• MAX RISER HEIGHT = 7 3/4"
• MIN HEAD CLEARANCE = 6'-8"
• MAX RISER/TREAD VARIANCE = 3/8"
• HANDRAIL HEIGHT IS 34" TO 38"
• USE 5/8" TYPE "X" GYP BOARD AT ALL ENCLOSED AREAS UNDER STAIRS.
• HANDRAILS MAY ENCROACH UPON STAIR WIDTH A MAX OF 4 1/2".
• HANDRAILS REQUIRED ALONG STAIRS W/ (2) OR MORE TREADS.
• PROVIDE GAURDRAILS AT LANDINGS, BALCONIES, AND/OR DECKS LOCATED MORE THAN 30"
VERTICALLY TO FLOOR/GRADE BELOW.
