INTRODUCTION
It is application software of “Courier Services.”. This software is a user

friendly which is a made visual basic 6.0 there are one database file which is use in

this project and 8 forms are used.

We are able to store all the information of particular CONSUMER and

also with help of database we can have all the information tin the form of

report. We can have the information of each CONSUMER form admission.

Same as we maintain register for the consumer programs, we have done

all the things manually. But now we went to do through computers by which

we save a lot of time and accurate data. In computerized system we have lot

of benefits like processing is very fast which is very less time consuming.

In this project we have the facility of entering the records, deletion and

addition.

With the help of this project an operator can maintain all the information

of consumers.

On very first we enter initialization form of particular consumer. We will

enter that consumer information, which have already initialization.

WHY MS-ACCESS:-

A database is a collection of information related to a particular subject

or purpose such as tracking customer order or maintaining a music collection. If

your database is not stored on a computer or only part of it are we may be tracking

information from a variety of sources that we have to coordinate and organize your

self.

Using Microsoft Access, we can manage all our information from a single

database file. Within the file, divide our data into separate storage containers

called Tables, view and update table data using online forms, find and retrieve just

the data we want using quires and analyze or print the data in a specific layout

using report.

1.To store our data create one table for each type of information we track. To

bring the data from multiple tables together i a query, form or report, we define the

relationship between the tables.

2.To find the retrieve just the data that meets conditions we specify, including

data from multiple tables, create a query .A query can also update or delete

multiple records at the same time, and perform built-in or custom calculations on

our data.

3.To analyze our data or present it a certain way it print, create a report.For

example, we might print one report that group's data and calculatio totals and

another report wit different data formatted for printing mailing labels.
WHY VISUAL BASIC:-
The working environment Visual Basic is often referred as
the integrated development environment or the IDE because it integrates many
different functions such as design, editing, compiling and debugging within a
common environment. In most traditional development tools each of these
functions would operate as a separate program each with its own interface.

The following key points make Visual Basic an Excellent development tool
(features): -

1.Applications are event driven. Event Driven means the user is control of the
application. The user generates a stream or event each time he/she clicks with
mouse or presses any key on the keyboard.

Visual Basic support the principles of object oriented design, it means


that you can compartmentalize. Different aspects of our application as object,
develop and test those objects independently of the rest of the application certain
properties and invoking the method of control over the user's interaction with the
visual basic program you have written.

2.Microsoft has defined the Visual Basic to be a complete windows application


development system this means that your visual basic application will lock and
behave like other windows program your user might work with.

3.Visual basic infinitely extensible through the use of active-x control dynamically
linked libraries (DLL's) and Add-Ins.
VISUAL BASIC 6.0
Microsoft Visual Basic is the quickest & easiest way to create application

for the Microsoft window operating system. The Visual Basic programming

system allows you to attractive & useful application that fully exploits the

graphical user interface (GUI).

Visual Basic makes you more productive by providing appropriate tools

for the different aspect s of GUI development. You create the Graphical User

Interface for your application by drawing objects in a graphical way. You set

properties on these objects to refine their appearance. Then you make this interface

react to the user by writing code that responds to events that occur in the interface.

Using Visual Basic, you can powerful, full-feature application that

exploit the key feature of MS-window, including Multiple Document

Interface(MDI), Object Linking & Embedding(OLE), Dynamic Data

Exchange(DDE),graphical & more Visual Basic can be Extended by adding

custom controls & by calling procedures in Dynamic Link Libraries(DLLs). your

finish application is a true EXE file that uses a runtime DLL that you can freely

distribute.

The main objective of this project is to manage the very Important and

burnable editing works of the Courieer Services. By This project we can handle

the facilities of the Telephone Department in any time .

This is Proved by the execute and working with this project with giving

description.

We can successfully achieved the objectives which Require to the

Telephone Department and also our such that to edit amount.


SYSTEM ANALYSIS
System analysis is an activity that encompasses most of the tasks called

Computer system Engineering. System analysis defines the more of each element

in a computer-based system, ultimately allowing the role that software will play.

System analysis encompasses requirements gathering of the system level small

amount of top level design.

System analysis is conducted with the following objects in mind:

-Identify the customer need.

-Evaluate the system concepts for feasibility.

-Perform economic and technical analysis.

-Allocate functions to hardware, software, people, database and other system


elements.

-Create a system definition.

System size and complexity, application area and endues are a few of the

many variable that affect the overall analysis effort. The major activities that are

undertaken during the analysis phase are:

-Problem Definition

-Study the present system

-Proposed system

-Feasibility study
FEASIBILITY STUDY

Feasibility study is high level version of the entire system Analysis and

design a process. The purpose of feasibility is a not to solve the problem, but to

determine if the problem is worth solving. It is conduct performance is defined by

the identification of specific system objects and descriptive of outputs.

Three key considerations that are involved in feasibility analysis are :-

-Economic feasibility

-Technical feasibility

-Operational feasibility
ECONOMIC FEASIBILITY :
Economic analysis is the most frequently used method for evaluating the

effectiveness of the proposed system. This is an on going effort that improves in

accuracy at each phase of the system life cycle. As the necessary software and

hardware is available in the organization the initial investment for proposed system

is nil. The proposed system is minimizes the time and effort of the data collection,

answering queries and generate reports which results significant

saving of the operating costs.

Thus, the proposed system is economically feasible.


TECHNICAL FEASIBILITY:
It centers around the existing computer system (h/w, s/w…) and to what

extent it can support the proposed system. The necessary H/W and S/W tools

available in the Organization and the software recommended support the system

Objects. Thus, it is technically feasible to design and develop the Proposed

system.

OPERATIONAL FEASIBILITY :
On the above analysis Users are inherently resistant to change and computers have

been known to facilitate change. An estimate should be made of how strong a

reaction the user is likely to towards the development of a new system. As the

proposed system is user friendly package with all visual aids, the effort that goes

into education and training the user is almost negligible.

Therefore resistance to the proposed system is nil. Based the

recommended system is feasible.


SOFTWARE PLANNING
Programmer writes before source code then the make Planning for developing the

project. They are define variables Methods and constant for the manually to

developing the project. Planning involves selecting mission and and achieving our

goals. We make project before define the planning of our project.

SCHEDULING SYSTEM:-
The programmer defines which job executes first scheduled It. These

sequences are data are executed. According execution the Make reports on the data

base project. In execution time operating System uses the scheduler for the

executing the statement.

consumers by computers. This work is done in past manually means information

records from files which is very time consuming.

MODULE LEVEL CONCEPT


In our project we are using several kinds of command button. Each button

has different kind of work the buttons, which our using in our project is as

following-

Delete button is used for deleting an existing record.

TESTING AND DEBUGGING


After the code has been generated testing step starts. The testing process

focuses on the logical internal of the software that ensures all statements have

been tested A good test has a high provability of finding and error. To achieve this

goal, the tester must understand the software and attempt to develop a mental

picture of how the software might fail. Ideally, the classes of failure are probed. A

good test is not redundant. Testing time and resources are limited there is no point

in conducting a test that has the same purpose as another test. Every test should

have a different purpose, a good test should be “best of breed”. In a group of test

that have a similar intent, time and resources limitation may mitigate towards the

execution of only a subset of these tests. The test should be neither too simple not

too complex. We have performed these types of testing.


Black box testing:

Knowing the specified function that a product has been design to

perform, tests can be conducted that demonstrate each function is fully operational

while at the same time searching for errors in each function black box testing

alludes to test that are conducted at the software interface.

black box test examines some fundamental aspect of a system with little

regard for he internal logical structure of software


White box testing:

Guarantee that all independent part with in a

module have been exercised at leas once. It means that all the hyper links are

checked that they open the right page or not. So for this we have checked all

hyper links at least once. Exercise internal data structures to ensure the

validity.
VALIDATION TESTING

A final series of software tests- validation testing may begin validation can

be defined in many ways, but a simple definition is that validation. Succeeds when

software functions in a manner that can be reasonably expect by the customer.

SYSTEM TESTING

System Testing is actually a series of different tests who’s primary?

Purpose is to fully exercise the computer-based system. Although each test has

a different purpose, all work to verify that system elements have been property

integrated and performs allocated function.


System Security Measures

Application Security :
In my project ,given password has provided an application security.

In project if the user type’s wrong password then he or she can not enter inside the

project , if user want to use or run the project, then he or she must enter the current

username and password. This project have two passwords to maintain system

security:

Database Security :
Database security is the most essential to avoid theft or leakage of

confidential data. A strict control must be kept over the issue of data files, backup

copies of critical files should be stored away and not accessible even to the

librarian, so that possibilities of destruction’s are minimized.

CONCLUSION

This project stored information about the consumers. The project is

useable to store information about consumer at courier services. The main

advantage of these project that this project was eliminate the process of keep

information in registers manually, this process is very time consuming at

entering information and search the information of particular consumer so we

developed this project. By use of this project we can insert, delete, and also

search the information about any particular consumer using computer.
