Good day to you all.

It is yet another glorious day, for a worthy celebration in the nation, the
celebration of the most important personality, the celebration of the
most important job and vocation, the celebration of the divine
commission, I mean the celebration of the mother’s days, as we gather
here today joining the Catholic Community to celebrate our motherhood.

First, let me use this medium to express my unquantifiable thanks to

God Almighty who has made it possible for us to be alive today to
witness this year’s Mother’s Day.

Also, I register my appreciation to our amiable parish priest Rev. Fr.

Christian Israel and the Parochial Vicar Rev. Fr. Emma Umewelukwa for
their Prayers, encouragement , support just to mention but a few to the
success of this organization. May God through his infinite mercy reward
you immensely in Jesus name Amen.

This is the first mother’s day celebration since the present Executives of
CWO CRP took over the mantle of leadership, we are deeply grateful to
God for his love, patience, guidance and protection all through the past
months. The ADCWO in her usual exhibition has a special tag for this
year’s Mother’s Day following suit. The organization committee of CWO
CRP has chosen the sub-theme so apt as to x-ray the benefit accruing
from honoring our blessed Mother Mary “Building of GROTTO’’
Mr. Chairman of the occasion, our special guests of honour, it is
necessary to once again recall to the history and importance of the
Grotto. Our the blessed mother Mary, the mother of God contributed
immensely to history of the salvation of mankind and since then, she
has been with the church so that the church would not fall prey to the
power of the devil. Mary appeared to the three little children of Fatima
in 1917. Urged them to pray for mankind for the forgiveness of sins. She
also promised to always be with the world in her distress. This is where
the Origin of the GROTTO gained its efficacy. After the appearance of
our mother Mary at Fatima, she also appeared to Lourdes in France in
the Year 1858. The church in her wisdom will always build a GROTTO of
our blessed Mother Mary at places, cities and churches were she had
appeared to keep the remembrance of the presence of Mary there.
Building of GROTTO in different churches and pilgrim centres today is to
signify the ever abiding presence of our blessed Mother Mary amongst
her people, where she stays to pray with us and intercede for us as well.
I am grateful to almighty God for counting you and I all worthy to be
mothers just like our model mother. Motherhood is the spring board on
which all other sectors revolve for growth, the role of mothers cannot be
overemphasized. Thus, mothers hold in their hands the key to the future
of our children and nation. Mothers therefore should be regarded as the
greatest assets in the march towards the nation building, Let the church
appreciate our calling and give us our worth.
Distinguished Ladies and gentlemen, permit me at this juncture to
express my sincere gratitude to all the chairpersons and Secretaries of
the entire CWO group. I salute you all and commend your efforts,
courage, perseverance, diligence, dedication to the things of God,
support and cooperation extended to my leadership even in the face of
all odds, to other executives and the entire members of CWO ‘Oh’ you
are so wonderful. Your support and contributions to this organization
had given rise to a radiating joy and smile from our faces, more power
to your elbow. As together we perform our divine tasks, may the
Almighty Father grant all mothers divine health, blessing, wisdom, I
wish us all a glorious Mothers Day Celebration and fruitful years ahead
