THERE IS Y
THERE ARE PARA SINGULAR Y PLURAL

 Usamos THERE IS para singular (y para cosas incontables). Por ejemplo:

There is a dog in the park. (hay un perro in el parque)


There is a man at the door. (hay un hombre en la puerta)
There is some wine in the bottle. (hay algo de vino en la botella)

 Usamos THERE ARE con sustantivos en plural.

There are three bottles of beer in the fridge. (hay tres botellas de cerveza en el congelador)
There are some people outside. (hay algunas personas afuera)

 Usamos IS/ARE THERE..? cuando queremos preguntar si hay algo

Is there a book on the desk? (¿Hay un libro sobre el escritorio?)


Are there two birds in the cage? (¿Hay dos aves en la jaula?)
