INSTALLATION GUIDE

To set up your flashcards in GoodNotes you need to follow a

bit of a different way than you might did with one of my other

digital products. So please follow the steps below.

HOW TO SETUP THE FLASHCARDS IN GOODNOTES

After purchase, download the files to your iPad and open

them in your Apple Files app. Unpack the .zip and put

everything at a place where you can easily find it.

First open the booklet and import it into GoodNotes. Leave

the flashcard templates aside for this moment.

The booklet provides you with covers, index pages and

hyperlinks for organization. Select the pen tool in the right top

corner to be able to click the hyperlinks.

The booklet is supposed to help you organize your flashcards.

So let's set them up as a template. Go to the GoodNotes

homepage and select the mechanical wheel, then "Notebook

Templates".
Make sure to select "GoodNotes Standard" as size and select

paper template (not cover template).

In the next step you create a new template group. You could

call it "The Simple Flashcards".

Now click the (+) to import the templates into your new group.

Select "From Files" and select one of the flashcard templates.

Repeat for each template.

Now click "Edit" in the right corner and select the three dots

(...) under one of the templates.

After you clicked the three dots (...) you get this overview (see

above). Make sure the toggle at "Flashcard Template" is

enabled. Repeat for each template and press save.

Head back to your booklet and add a new page. Select "More

from Templates" and select the fitting flashcard.

This way you can setup your booklet as you like and add as

many flashcards as you want. You can choose the style that

fits your needs.

When you are done,

select the three dots

(...) and then "Study

Flashcards".

Now only your official

flashcards will show.

The rest of the

booklet will not be

included.
the front shows your question and if you tap it, the back will

show the answer. Afterwards you can rate your own memory.

GoodNotes will create a chart showing your results. And

now... have fun creating some flashcards!
