Short Row Heel Instructions VANILLA SOCKS

This will work for both top down and toe up socks.
Make sure you have HALF your total stitches of the sock to
work on.
Once you have completed a round:
Turn work, now place 2 stitch markers 12 stitches apart,
marking the central 12 stitches.
(For example, on a 64 stitch sock, I would be working my
short row heel over 32 stitches.
So, I would purl 10 stitches, place a marker, purl 12
stitches, place a marker, continue with 1st row)
Purl across to 1st before the end, wrap and turn,
Knit to 1st before the end, wrap and turn,
Repeat the last two rows working the wrap and turn 1 stitch
in each time until you have the 12 stitches in the middle on your needle.
