Scene 1:
A: Good morning, I am a new neighbor in this apartment.

My name is Mary, nice to meet you!

B: Hi, my name is Berly, Nice to meet you too!

A: I need to buy something for my breakfast, and I don’t know the places around here.

B: Perfect, you can find different places near to this apartment.

A: Oh, That’s good. Where do you buy food?

B: What do you want to buy?

A: I need some bread and toast.

B: There is a bakery near here. Walk two blocks on Mercy Street. There is a bakery next to the
Grocery store.

A: It’s perfect because I also need to buy some eggs, flour, juice, laundry detergent and milk.

B: You can buy this kind of food at the grocery store.

A: And where do you buy medicine?

B: You can go to Inkafarma drugstore. It’s across from the grocery store.

A: Excellent, I need to buy some vitamins and pills.

A: Thanks for the information. See you.

B: See you.

Scene 2:

A: Hi again.

B: Hi Mary

A: I need some information.


B: That’s right, tell me

A: Is there a clothes store around here?

B: Of course. There is one on Petit Thouars Avenue.

A: I need to buy a pair of socks, a skirt and a blouse.

B: And... if you need to buy a pair of shoes, there is a shoe store next to the clothes store.

A: I don’t need a pair of shoes, but I need a pair of flip flops.

And... I need a haircut, too.

B: Oh, you are lucky! There is a hairdresser in front of our apartment.

A: Perfect, Thanks a lot. Bye

B: You are welcome...see you.

Scene 3:

A: Excuse me, I’m looking for an electronics store.

B: Sure, there is an electronics store on Tatami Street.

B: Uhm... What do you buy there?

A: I buy some batteries and adapters.

B: Oh, I see!

A: But I need to buy a screwdriver and a hammer, too.

B: There is a hardware store on Tatami Street, too. It’s on the second block.

A: Fantastic, I have one more question. Is there a newsstand around here?

B: Yes. There is a newsstand next to the hardware store. What do you buy there?

A: I buy some magazines. Oh, I’m looking for a correction pen and a highlighter, too.

B: Well, there is a stationery store between the electronics store and the hardware store.
