GasAlert Extreme To clear TWA, STEL, and maximum (MAX) gas exposures

Quick Reference Operations Key readings, press and hold C for 6 seconds.
ON: Press A. Audible/visual/vibrator alarms activate. The current
TWA, STEL, low, and high alarm setpoints display. A self-test
performs during the start-up sequence.
OFF: Press A and hold for 5 seconds to deactivate the detector.
BACKLIGHT: In alarm (auto), in low light (auto), and on demand
(press any key in low light conditions to reactivate).
GAS ALARMS: GasAlert Extreme is equipped with TWA, STEL,
low, and high alarms. Audible/visual/vibrator alarms activate,
readout advises gas hazard present in ppm or % vol, and alarm
icons light advising of alarm level.
LOW BATTERY ALARM: flashes and audible/visual alarms
pulse. Change battery in a non-hazardous atmosphere only.
VIEW TWA, STEL, and PEAK (MAX) EXPOSURES: Press and
hold C and D. TWA, STEL, and peak (MAX) exposures display
CALIBRATION:
1. In a clean atmosphere, press C and E simultaneously and
hold for 5 seconds. The LCD displays CAL.
2. flashes while the detector zeroes the gas sensor.
3. Enter the span setting and press C to confirm.
4. When flashes, connect the gas cylinder and apply gas at a
flow rate of 500-1000 ml/min. The detector beeps three times at
the end of the span stage. Remove the calibration gas.
5. Press E or D to change the next calibration due date and
press C to save.
6. Press E or D to change the alarm setpoint or press C to skip
to the next setpoint. Press C to save a changed setpoint. The
detector beeps and vibrates four times at the end of calibration.
PASS CODE PROTECT: Enter the pass code when prompted.
