STATISTICAL TREATMENT

After collecting the data needed, the researchers tabulated

and analyzed the gathered data with the help of statistical tools and

formulas.

The data gathered were treated through percentage and

ranking. The following were the statistical tools used by the

researchers in their research.

Percentage and Ranking

Percentage and ranking techniques were used to analyze the

responses given and to come up for numerical and descriptive analysis.

It is essential in determining the highest percentage in various

procedures set by the researchers

E. MATERIALS

Below are the materials required in making a marking tool

and its usage throughout the process of building it.

MATERIALS USAGE
This is one of the main materials
in creating the marking tools. It
Soapstone is made out of talc which is a
soft clay mineral composed of
hydrated magnesium silicate.
This is also one of the main
materials. Instead of making a
pure marking tool out of
soapstone, charcoal would be
Charcoal
added as a component. With
charcoal, it would be easily to
sand out the markings and will
leave no residue behind.
This material would be use in
making the box where the made
marking tools be stored. This
Wood
will make sure that the marking
tools will not be broken as it is
a very fragile item.
This material would be use to
Rasps and Files carve the soapstone to its ideal
shape.
This material will be used in
finishing phase in order to
Sand Paper
achieve a smooth surface for the
marking tool.

F. FINANCIAL PLAN

The table below present the costs, quantity needed required

in making only one marking tool and the box to where it will be

stored. The size of the box depends on how many marking tools you

would want to store inside it, commonly, a box can store up to 12

pieces of marking tool which also depends on how long and how thick

the marking tool will be.

In this research, the soapstone-charcoal marking tool will

be 10 inches long and a quarter inch thick, thus the box, ideally

should be 10 inches long too and approximately 3 inches wide.
