The meeting started with an opening prayer led by Sangguniang Barangay

Member Ronald P. Camba followed by the roll-call and the reading of the minutes of the
previous meeting.

The Punong Barangay reminded the Barangay officials on the implementation of

Solid Waste Management in the barangay though admittedly, it is hard to implement and
maintain waste segregation for every individual.

Sangguniang Barangay Member and Vice Chairman on BESWMC Ronald P.

Camba suggested for a home visitation to monitor whether households are observing and
practicing proper waste segregation. The body greed with the suggestion.
 The Punong Barangay also stressed on the “NO BURNING POLICY”. He said
that it is prohibited to burn especially plastic wrappers since it is very damaging to our
ozone layer. He demanded that all Barangay officials should disseminate and implement
this policy with their designated puroks, and failure to do so will be subjected to
suspension, if not removal from the service. He also reminded them to check religiously
MRF’s in their designated purok and remove all piled waste in it if there are any.

He also asked the BDRRMC Vice Chairman if they have come up with protective
measures to reduce the intensity of future disasters.

Zingapan that they have included in the preparedness plan all protective measures that the
committee believe could alleviate the intensity of future disasters such as to have a proper
training for search and rescue, developing contingency plans and stockpiling equipment
and supplies. He reiterated that the main objective of the disaster preparedness is to
reduce the loss of life and livelihoods.

Other matters were discussed.

The meeting ended and adjourned at 11:30 AM.
