of Craft Masoury in }3razii.

Nós, abaixo assignados, General Dr. José Maria Moreira Guina-

raes e Major Ezequiel Medeiros, e Peter Swanson e Re4nald Árthui Brooking,
devida e legalmente autorizados para representar as Altas Partes Gontractantes,
convencionámos e ajustámos celebrar mii Convenlo solemne de Ailiança Fraternal
conforme estabelecido e exposto nos Artigos que se seguem:-
ARTIGO 1 - Apartir desta data estabelecer-se-á n intima eandissoluvei
aaiiança entre as Altas Partes Contractantes, signatarias deste
Convenio.
ARTIGO II - "TIlE UIWII$ GEMI!) LOnGE OF BNGLMW' pelo presente ,eco no
GRANDE ORIENTE DO BRASIL a unitj'otend'ia MaçoMca4%cional regu-
lamente estabelecida no Brasiw so reconhec,*ra como Maçons ra-
sileitos, aquelies que possuirem um Certificadõ ou D»loma expedido
pelo referido GRANDE OICENTE. .
ARTIGO III - As Altas Partes Contractantes convencionam manter a Permuta de Re-
presentantes, como no passado, reconhecendo-se tal permuta como um
meio de tornar mis intimas e cordiaes as suas xelaçes.
ARTIGO IV - O GRANDE ORIEWPE DO BRASIL pelo presente reconhece os beneficos re-
sultados do Convenio celebrado entre as Altas Portes >Contractantes
em 21 de Dezembro de 1912, e pelo presente reafririsao seu apreço
polo auxilio leal e fraternal que sempre lhe foi prehtado pelos
Maçons Britannlcos subordijiados ao Grande Capitulo de Rito de York
no Brasil.
ARTIGO V - Cc'nsiderando-se o desejo expresso pelos Miçons Britannieos de lhes
ser nermitticb exercerem as suas actividades subordinadas á UNTTED

Fica pelo presente convencionado que a autorização ora
outorgada abrangera os tres groS da Antiga Maçonaria, a saber , os
de Aprendiz, Companheiro e Mestre, juntamente com a,Ordem buprema
do "Holy Roya]. Ardi" tornado-se tambim extensiva a autorização
de Capitulos da Royal Arch a serem anoexados & Lojas que, presen-
te ou futuramente, exercerem as suas actividades sob a direcço da
Grande Loja Di strictal, que será administrada de conformidade com a
pratica em vigór de acc6rdo com a Jurisdicção Ingleza.
AJf[GO VI - Era consequencia do disposto no Artigo precedente, fica convenciona-
do entre as Altas Partes Contractantes que, em virtude de não ser
mais necessaria a existencia do Grande Capitulo do !dto de York no
Brasil, este, uma vez fornada e estabelecida a Grande Loja Distric-
tal, cessara as suas actividades, e seus livros, documentos e bens
serão entregues á referida Grande Loja Districtal, exceptuando-se
o Livro de Actas em idioma Portuguez, que será entregue ao GRANDB
O1EWfE DO BRASIL. simultaneamente as Lojas mencionadas no Artigo
precedente passarão automaticamente rara ajurisdicção da HNIflI)

retendo todos os seus livros, documentos e bens.

Certificados de Irmãos aiittis "elas Lojas Lencionadas no Artigo
V., até a data da installação do Grande Capitulo do Rito de York no
Brasil, e, subsequentemente, pelo referido Grande Capitulo até a
data da formação da Grande Loja Districtai, serão reconhecidos como
se houvessem sido exoedidos pela UIU'ED GRAND LODOS.
ÀBflOO VIII - Este Convenio, lavrado nos idiomas Portuguez e Inglez, devidamente
assignado pelos ,representantes autorizados das Altas Partes Cozi-
tractantes, será submettido a apreciação do GRANDE ORIátrA IX) BRA-
SIL e á UNITEI) GRAN» LOnGE 02 ENGLAND, respectivamente, para rati-
ficação ou homologação, dentre de seis meses da data da sua assig-
natura.
