How to use ISO files with Windows

The file ISO is a copy of a phisical disc (cd, dvd or blue ray). The fastest way to use it is making a disc
burning.

Otherwise it is possible to open the file without burning with all versions of windows.

Windows 8 has support for ISO files:

-Right click the iso file and mount:

-If this option isn’t present, right click the iso file, open with, and chose “Windows Explorer”, which will mount the iso as a
drive.

-In "My Computer", right click the virtual drive to unmount/eject the iso file:
Windows 7, VISTA, XP, 2000, ME and 98 have no support to use this file, but it's easy.

STEP BY STEP SETUP AND HOW TO MOUNT ISO FILES WITH ALCOHOL 52%

Install Alcohol 52% Free Edition and not the Trial Version because it expires in few days.
They are equivalent.
-Restart Windows

-During installation, uncheck "Install the Alcohol Toolbar"and anything else.

-The only thing you need is the "Alcohol Core Files" and "Multilanguage Files" if you prefer.
-Leave the checkmark on "Run Alcohol 52%" and "Add Alcohol Virtual Drive at first run".
-This is the main screen of Alcohol 52%. Right click the vurtual drive letter to mount/unmount iso files.
