1.1 INTRODUCTION:

An education institution learning experience to the learners that lead


them from the darkness of ignorance to light of knowledge. In this function a
key component that plays a vital role is teacher. The teachers are an important
element of educational process. There is a need to invest in the preparation of
teachers so that the future of the nation of can be secures. The most stressful
job is of teachers so that the future of the nation of can be secured. The most
stressful job is of teaching. A teacher needs deep concentration of mind to do
the Job. She will be interested in his profession so that he can teach well. A
teacher can be interested in his job if she will be Satisfied with her job or work.
A teacher who his happy and satisfied and fully adjusted teachers can
contribute a lot to the well being of his her students because optimum level of

profession and even got frustrated with their job. Job satisfaction can be define
as the positive feelings or attitude of individuals towards their job. Money is not
always the main cause of job satisfaction. Some of these are:-Engaging them in

management.

teachers

of urban and rural areas.

1.7 HYPOTHESIS OF THE STUDIES


The following hypothesis will be verified for the set objectives.

1. There exists no significant difference in the Job satisfaction of private and

government women teachers.

2. There exists no significant difference in the job satistaction of women secondary

teachers of urban and rural areas.


3. There exists no significant relationship between job satisfaction and work
environment of women and work environment of women lady teachers in

secondary schools.
1.8 DELIMITATION OFTHE STUDY:
1. The present study will be delimited to the kalahandi district only.
2. The present study will be delimited to the 10 women teachers out of
which 5 was government school teachers and 5 was private school teachers.

This is an empirical study both primary data and secondary data are
used for collecting information. The secondary data was used to impact of
working environment. The secondary data was collected from journals,
magazines, books, newspaper, internet searches, Library and other online data.

based on Job satisfaction scale(DJSS) by Dr, Mrs Meena Dixit (1993) and they have

strongly disagree.

1.11PROCEDURE OF DATA ANALYSIS


The procedure of Data analysis which are used in the field of research
such as mean, median, mode, chi-square, simple percentage etc. for the study the

above mentioned tools will be used.

satisfaction of women teachers. The school authority can organize special welfare
program for teacher's well-beings and positive changes in their level of satisfaction. As
for as improving the demographic factors related to the Job, the management should

provide the opportunity for suitable working space, facilities to achievement one's
statues and prestige in job. Therefore, the study of job satisfaction is of much value to

administrators and policy makers, who frame policies, take decisions and create
conditions in which teachers try to maximize their potential and thus derive greater job

satisfaction.

The study of concludes that organizational support toward teacher in
enhancing job satisfaction is very important. All eforts should be taken to
mprove the job satislaction of teachers. Having inferred from this study
that s freedom at workplace is the most sought after characteristics of Job

Some suggestions towards achieving job satisfaction are self developmental
opportunities shorts term courses, seminars, Workshops, high appreciation
and rewards for commendable work are some of the ways in which job
satisfaction can be improved.
