role or reward otherwise actions that benefit the discount provider.
2. What do you think is the most effective strategy or scheme in setting the price for a new

- Price skimming, in my opinion, is the most successful method or scheme for establishing the price
for a new product in the market since entering the market with a high price, but after your rivals
follow, drop your cost and use other pricing tactics. Discounts offered over time, and one-time
offers are examples of promotional pricing. A price skimming strategy involves releasing a new
product or service at a high price point then progressively decreasing your pricing. This is an
excellent technique to attract customers, particularly high-income customers who consider
themselves early adopters or fashionistas.
