A SEMI – DETAILED LESSON PLAN

GRADE 11 EMPOWERMENT TECHNOLOGY

I. OBJECTIVES

At the end of the lesson, the students are expected to:


1. recognize techniques to manipulate on existing images to change or enhance their
current state to communicate a message for a specific purpose.
2. appreciate techniques to manipulate on existing images to change or enhance their

3. perform techniques to manipulate on existing images to change or enhance their

II. SUBJECT MATTER

A. Concept: Combining text, graphics, and images.


Sub-concept: Use image manipulation techniques on existing images to change or
enhance their current state to communicate a message for a specific purpose.

III.PROCEDURE
A. ACTIVITY
PIC-TE-PHIC ARRANGEMENT
Group Activity
Procedures:
1. Divide the class in 4 groups.
2. Let each group assign a leader and secretary, the secretary will write the name of
each member in a sheet of paper, and the leader will be the one to arrange the
jumbled images in the assigned desktop computer with the help of other members.
3. Three (3) minutes is allotted to arrange the picture to come up with a final output.

B. ANALYSIS

Ask the following questions to the students. Make it sure that maximum
participation will be solicited.

1. After forming all those jumbled images as one, what is the picture all about?
2. What is your insight regarding the picture?
3. Can we possibly combined text, graphics and images to convey a message?
How?
C. ABSTRACTION

Using Photoshop, laptop and multimedia projector, the teacher will discuss steps
and different techniques to manipulate on existing images to change or enhance their
current state to communicate a message for a specific purpose.

D. APPLICATION

Using Photoshop and desktop computer and/or laptop, the students will create
their own poster on how to stop the spread of Corona Virus. After finishing the output,
instruct them to save their output with filename sampleOutput.jpg in Drive D.

E. ASSESSMENT

Using Photoshop, the students will make or create their own poster on how to stop
the spread of Corona Virus, using images and other available picture and design on their
computer.

F. AGREEMENT/ASSIGNMENT

Discuss the peer teaching that will be conducted next meeting for those who will not
finish the assessment.
