Conceptual brief:
Heritage is the inheritance of both tangible and intangible resources which are historically and culturally
important that are worthy of preservation. In this case, the re-establishment of the lost glory of Hastinapur
becomes even-more important when Excavations were found surrounding the Mahabharata era during mid
90s.
• Tangible and intangible heritage holds equal importance in impacting the way a society keeps on living.
• Tangible heritage includes materialistic collectibles which vary in shapes and sizes and will be a live
evidence of the heritage - such as: artworks, museum collections, industrial items, fossils, monuments,
cultural landscapes, architectural works. Intangible heritage includes traditions, languages, crafts, festivals,
performing arts etc.

• Interpretation takes an important role to increase the awareness about a place which has lost it's glory
throughout the history but has a capability of re-glorify itself.

communicating to the public through guided walks, talks, seminars displays, galleries, artworks, audio visual

excavated materials and to re-glorify the history of Mahabharata is the objective.
