ABSTRACT
Unemployment is a problem that is often debated in the economic and business activities of a
country. The lower the unemployment rate, the more capital there is to drive the wheels of
progress. The quantity of new workers will continue to increase to coincide with the ongoing
political, demographic, trade, cultures and vitality/health processes.
In SMK occupational skills are vocational skills related to certain jobs. Occupational skills
bring graduates closer to today reality and prepare students to find alternative options to overcome
life's problems without being depressed. The provision of entrepreneurial skills in the automotive
sector is expected to be used to find income in the future.
The low interest in entrepreneurship in vocational students is due to lack of confidence so that
students are less able to block the obstacles that arise. Thus, only students who try to face
challenges and have unyielding intelligence who have high intentions in entrepreneurship. The
intelligence in question is not only scientific insight, but there is something more influential,
namely adversity intelligence or unyielding intelligence.
The results of this study indicate that (1) there is a correlation between adversity intelligence
and the entrepreneurial intention of class XII students of TKR SMKN 11 Malang, (2) there is a
correlation between occupational skills and entrepreneurial intentions of class XII students of
SMKN 11 Malang, and (3) there is a correlation between adversity intelligence and occupational
skills on the entrepreneurial intentions of class XII students of TKR SMKN 11 Malang.
With occupational skills and supported by adversity intelligence, it is able to make a positive
contribution to students entrepreneurial interests, more specifically that occupational skills
supported by adversity intelligence are able to increase students entrepreneurial intentions in the
Light Vehicle Engineering Skills Competence.
