EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The three young girls who founded Cafe Hinay, Janine Kyra, Daniela, and Julia Mariel, all have
similar cuisine tastes. The three of them are aspiring young entrepreneurs who like drinking and taking
different variations of Coffee in their daily activities, which has led them to desire to start a business in
the hospitality industry called Cafe Hinay. The owners called their cafe shop upon expressing personal
exhaustion in which it would be soothed and gratified once the guests devour the products and are
satisfied with the services provided by Cafe Hinay. Also, the business is called Cafe Hinay as the
owners want their guests to slow down some of the things in life that everyone sometimes needs to be
calm to be able to have a better plan to resolve the hurdles in life and live a better life or to achieve the
goals in life. In addition, guests can use the Cafe Shop as a calm gathering area or a convenient
workplace environment.
Cafe Hinay will provide a friendly, comfortable atmosphere where the customer can receive
quality food and service at a reasonable price. Cafe Hinay will offer a variety of choices of Coffee to the
guests with all sorts of will be delivered hot or iced on the sizes of each cup with the options of taking
out or taking it to the cafe shop. These two names are Keri Lang and On the Go for small, medium, and
large sizes of hot and iced coffee drinks. The Cafe Hinay will be open and serve the guests during their
time having breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
The target market of Cafe Hinay is the students who love to spend a lot of time in coffee shops in
a warm and inviting atmosphere. They appreciate good Coffee and the cafe culture of their
surroundings. They spend their time studying, people watching, or meeting with friends. The students
will be attracted and favor buying the products for the catchy creative names that the Cafe Hinay have
that the competitors do not have catchy creative names on their menu. In addition, the guest will be
attracted to the business image, interior designs, and exterior designs of the business premises.

INDUSTRY PROFILE
The glory days of the Philippine coffee industry lasted until 1889 when insect infestation and a
wave of pests and diseases prompted wealthy landowners to transform their coffee plantations
tintosugarcane fields. The Philippine Coffee Board Inc. was established in 2002 to improve coffee
output. Size of the industry compared to the size of the market. The coffee industry in the Philippines
has had its ups and downs, and it has never wholly regained its renown or glory days. The Philippines
has a great chance to reclaim its glory days by processing more coffee beans of the four commercially
viable coffee varieties. The countries in the Bean Belt are gifted with lowland to mountain regions with
suitable soil and climatic conditions for the coffee industry in the Philippines. Even though coffee
production and exports are deficient in the Philippines, the country remains a significant coffee market.
According to the National Coffee Association's 2016 National Coffee Drinking Trends Study, 36 percent
of 18 to 24-year-olds drank Gourmet Coffee, which aligns with our target demographic.

The target market of Cafe Hinay is the students who are coffee shop lovers, and who spend a
lot of time in coffee shops in a warm and inviting atmosphere. They appreciate good Coffee and the
cafe culture of their surroundings. They spend their time studying, people watching, or meeting with
friends. They do not want tasteless Coffee. They are delighted to take their time, sitting and soaking it
all up. The Cafe owners have narrowed down the target market for Coffee into four main segments to
create targeted advertisements for the potential guests. The marketing process is to work with the
guests through a one-to-one basis to ensure their supply needs are being met and help develop unique
marketing programs for each of them. They intend to prioritize guests service and make it a key
component of our marketing programs. The owners believe that providing their guests with what they
want, when and how they want it, is the key for their business to be successful and positive word-of-
mouth advertising. The owners also want to develop close working relationships with the guests, and
they want to establish accounts as personable away as possible. It is for this reason that they will
overwhelmingly emphasize in-person sales calls to build reports. The Direct competitors of the Cafe
Hinay are other coffee shops that compete for the same Coffee, such as J.Co Donuts, Seattle's Best
Coffee, UCC Coffee, The Coffee Bean, and Tea Leaf, Bo's Coffee, Tim Hortons Cafe, St. Marc Cafe,

The Barista Basics Training Program provides the initial training for a newly hired barista on
essential skills and knowledge required for the barista role at Cafe Hinay Company. Their skills will be
taught and enhanced on one-to-one delivery and on-the-job training through simple and intuitive tools.
It is a highly effective learning experience for a new barista that quickly enhances confidence and
competence in delivering customer service.
The Customer Service and Cashier Training Program is designed to assist individuals with
employment barriers and create partnerships with the retail business and hospitality sectors. It will
enhance the skills required for customer service, hospitality, merchandising, and cashiering. Students
have the opportunity to obtain certificates. This program includes a work experience component.
The Location Familiarization delivery drivers training, in the case of newly recruited delivery
drivers from another place, driving for the first time may be difficult. For instance, Those who are new to
the shop's location may face problems while going or taking a drive. The person might not be familiar
with the roads, driving habits, and traffic laws. Therefore, the delivery driver needs training on the road
