happen in a process and uses management processes to minimize risk.
Failure modes and effect analysis (FMEA) looks at what will happen in a
process when components fail in the process. It starts with a failure and
moves forward in time to the consequence.
Fault tree analysis starts with the catastrophic event and moves backward
in the process to look at all event sequences that may lead to the
catastrophic events. A fault tree is created with the roots of the tree
leading to the catastrophic event at the top.

(especially one that is unconscious), is at
great risk of suffering from orthostatic
intolerance. This is a condition caused
by poor circulation of the blood. A very
brief explanation of what happens is that
the blood that has not circulated has very
low oxygen levels. When the person is
moved, and the blood starts to circulate
again, the blood with low oxygen levels
can cause major problems (even death).
