Reflection

In the first seminar class in the second semester of the health care informatics seminar,

Dr. Mack talked about the COVID-19 vaccine's efficacy and the new strains of COVID-19. He

talks about some project opportunities.

Moreover, the HISA team members joined us and talked about voting for new nominees.

Jarred and kate talk about their experience and what they get rewarding to be with HISA like it

keeps them motivated. In my opinion, HISA is interesting because it lets the person build good

relations and keep the person motivated.

On the other hand, the instructor talks about updating the e-portfolio, and Dr.Boone talks

about program competency and what we have to do with competency program outcome. Then

the instructor breaks us into break rooms where we have a great discussion about the

competency. And Dr. Klimpel talks about the practicum, which tracks needs to do, and who is

optional. It is optional for my track, but I'm thinking about it. I feel like it will add significant

value for me.

In the end, the instructor share with us what we have to do for the homework. It was a

great first seminar in the second semester.
